First of all the life of a streamer is a rocky road.
Then their are some promoters who want a big piece of the stream.
Both are a factor but mainly the later.
I know there's feuding going on among the streamers. Can't you guys negotiate and try to work something out together, instead!
It is not at all about a feud !
Please don't start a fire.
Actually I was trying not to be too specific, but Allen Hopkins wants way to much from any streamer allowed to stream the Pro events. :yeah:
I don't know about the other events at all.

Really, there isn't any modem to gauge how much money a stream costs on ticket sales, but maybe there is now.
Mike zuglan once told me at turning stone that the crowd numbers decreased dramatically once they included the free steam, especially on Sunday when it goes to one table. But turning stone classic is a free event.
I could see Hopkins motive in that the stream could take away some ticket sales, so he would want to recoup expenses, but maybe he is asking too much. Really, there isn't any modem to gauge how much money a stream costs on ticket sales, but maybe there is now.
I at least hope they record the matches and then load them up on YouTube after the event.
Inside pool did a great job the last few years.
Wait, there is no internet at the Expo?!?:grin-square:
That would be my guess too. Kind of like pro sports blacking out local channels if the games don't sell out.
