Scale savvy person?

I am trying to weigh a cue on my scale to put it on here but for some reason it keeps flashing H. It only weighs up to about 10oz. and then flashes H. What does H mean, and how do I fix it? ( it is an Acculab scale capacity 4000g)

I've never heard of a cue that weighs less than 10 ounces, so I'm pretty sure the H is telling you that the scale is over-weighted. Don't know what it stands for, but I'd bet money on it.

Are you weighing just the shaft? That might be less than 10.

I looked up the owners manual and it says H means overloaded.
