Scam alert!!!

have either of you notified ebay? as for me, if the person doesn't have at least a 50 count and at least a 97% rating, i'm not buying from him. too many headaches in the past 6 months with low count sellers. i reported a scam from england on a mottey a few months ago, and ebay kicked the guy off when i showed the auction he was pirating. we as a group need to stay vigilante to protect each other. thank you gentlemen.

If you email him, he'll give you a low price and tell you he uses Global Shipping. I contacted him today and asked why he was dropping it off in London or Australia (only Global Shipping locations) when he lives in the United States, and he said he had just moved to Europe and forgotten to update his listing. ;)

i havent been able to inform ebay as i couldnt sort out the whole ebay help maze... they just keep referrin u here there and everywhere perhaps with the specific purpose of "dont contact us!!". Perhaps someone who has successfully navigated that maze can post the link here so that we all could just slam the scam!

i tried to put a bid, and then retract it, puttin the reason that the auction is a scam, but seems like the ebay form only 3 default reasons can be chosen. i would think this is to protect sellers from pranksters..still i hope the retracted bid i put, can help warn off some bidders ...

I reported it - maybe this link will work for you if you book-mark it. You just write "customer support".

I bid one one. I was outbid.

Two days later, I got a 2nd chance buy now from someone
e-mailed the seller and ebay they said it was a fake e-mail.

The website was all set-up to grab my logon and password and then go after my paypal. But I am a little wiser now. It is easy to spot fake e-mails. I forward 2-5 spoof ebay/paypal e-mails every month from a work account that is not even linked to eather site.

Not to say I get as many spoof bank e-mails about changing my banking info. I work for the government, and we have our own bank. :D
