SCAM Report

I know Alberto personally for at least 10-15 years.

If he says he didn't receive the cue, you can be sure it is like this.

I think his problem is, that he is very good natured.
When he began buying cues in the US we bought together 4 cues of Martyne at Chalkers.
It then took her, due to moving and some other chaotic circumstances nearly a year to send us the certificates for these cues.
Not one bad word came from him, nothing he just was happily waiting to get the certificates one day...

I get to see all the cues he's buying in ebay, sometimes they are not as described...as so often with ebay, a nick here, a ding there...you all know...

But, does he give negative feedbacks ??? or post any words in any forums...???

So if he starts, and concerning forums and Internet he is absolutely uninterested, posting in here about having a problem with this black creek cue deal, I say you should better believe him !!

@Randall or anybody who knows him: go and throw the cue in a tube and send it to him again, use something trackable the next time so it won't have to endure the risks of normal mail.....
 
BOTTOM LINE TIME:

Buyer puts faith in seller to ship cue.
Seller ships cue, but trying to save a few bucks, uses slow boat to china, and no tracking.
Buyer never receives cue
Seller says mistakenly shipped via slow boat to china and it will arrive some day.
Buyer continues to inform seller, cue not received
Seller says, must have received, according to slow boat to china shipper
Buyer says, no, really, cue not received

NO BRAINER SOLUTION for any credible seller:
EITHER SEND THIS GUY THAT CUE BY 1-2 DAY AIR WITH FULL TRACKING, AND PROPER INSURANCE. OR ISSUE HIM A FULL REFUND IMMEDIATELY, along with a letter of apology. Furthermore, ship that replacement cue in a nice little whitten 1-banger case as a real action gesture of that apology. If you don’t have a whitten, go get one, or some other case of
High quality.

Note: If shipper did not insure the original (lost cue), his lesson to absorb, certainly not the responsibility of the buyer to take the loss!

WORDS OF WISDOM ALL SHIPPERS:
A. Client is always right (what happened to that principle these days?)
(reminder: If your selling a cue, guess what, the buyer is the client.. hello).

B. Always use overnight shipping within the US, and fastest available courier for International (2-3 days). (Don’t be a tight wad to save 20-30 bucks…cause this type of scenario is an all too common outcome) & (your client will appreciate the prompt delivery, when shipped correctly).

C. Always insure your item for the full replacement cost, FOB/CIF
D. Always require signature for POD if required.

I NEVER SAID I KNEW RANDY WELL, JUST THAT I HAD DEALT WITH HIM BEFORE, AND THAT HE WAS VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD AND HONEST WITH ME. YOU LOOKED AT THE FEEDBACKS WRONG. RANDY'S FEEDBACK WAS 32 AND 100% UNTIL THIS DEAL. ONE OF THOSE BEING FROM ME RECVENTLY.

FOR THE SECOND TIME: I merely wrote that his Ebay ID (rk-ponyman) is on my shit list. I even wrote that I've NEVER dealt with him. But I do learn from the mistakes of others. Hence, my list.

But DO NOT use my post as an example of not remembering deals, good bad or otherwise. And DO NOT paraphrase me and include it in your feeble attempt to justify your backing out of supporting rk-ponyman and his irresponsible behavior. My Ebay Feedback is way over 1000 with 100% POSITIVE, and I too remember every cue deal. Obvioulsy, I take great care of every customer which is why rk-ripoffman pisses me off so much.

I never wrote or insinuated that i had any dealings directly with rk-ponyman, let alone that I'm too faakin dense to remember it. So don't mis-quote me cause you've had a change of heart.

I fully understand and respect that you realize your previous support was a mistake and you need to disassociate yourself from him. He is obviously not taking care of Alberto - WHICH IS THE POINT TO THIS THREAD!!
 
everybody hopes clashbilliard gets taken care of! nobody is against clashbilliard! but the problem has not been resolved and doesnt look like it can be resolved in the near future if the cue is stuck in customs somewhere and rk-pony has been deployed overseas.
it's appearent mistakes were made by rk-pony and need to be rectified. but unfortunately it doesnt look like it is going to happen quickly.
i posted that i had a good transaction with rk-pony and i still believe that he is not trying to scam clash. i hope for your sake clash the problem gets taken care of sooner rather than later!

I don´t want to blaim someone, defending his home country abroad (SOMEONE mentioned this). But he never let me know about this, and i can´t care for those things. I payed for this item, so i can expect to recieve it sometime.

I´m not the man, who´s livid, when someone let me wait for my item, if i have a good contact and he has a good reason (thanks to madmat, for sharing this story).

So, again, if ANYONE is in contact with Randall, please let him know, I`M STILL WAITING FOR MY CUE!!!

alberto, you missed my "point", what I was saying was he left feedbacks to the others right after payment was made to him thru paypal ( like within 12hrs , my point was he didn't leave you a feedback since june 29th , 3-1/2 months and still no feedback! my thoughts were maybe he didn't want to give you the double edge blade and slice you up and down with it in you but only take your money since you don't live in the USA ;)


he dose say this "Reply by rk-pony-man: problem is german postal service, have records to prove it, look at my feedback :confused:

I remind him several times to comment on this via email and his reputation at AZBilliards is getting worth, i hope, with everyday without any comment.

I do believe, that he hasn´t have any records, because he hasn´t sent the cue yet.
I´m starting to think that he even doesn´t own any blackcreek.

Good work Marcus,Randy owes you one. Its a unique situation dealing with other counry's regulation with duties and banned items being sent in.Germany is one of the toughest.

I Just Did What I Felt Was Right In The Situation. Randy Had Alays Been Straight Up With Me, And I Felt That Posting These Pictures Should Be Enough To Set This Story Straight, And To Bring An End To This. Guess We'll Have To Wait And See How It Plays Out.
