i have a schon sl10 pool cue i have been playin with for years. everytime i try to find out anything bout it , it falls thru. can anybody tell me when they wre made, when they quit makin sl series, is it rundy-era. any info will be greatly appreciated

I have an SL-10 also. Would appreciate you PMing me any info you find out.

I too have a cue very much LIKE the sl10, but mine has sharp points not the cnc milled ones and the veneer colors are different. Has the silver ring and not the stich, also came with the micarta ferruled shafts. Sweeeet hitter, I call it "the majic stick" 'cause all I have to do is "point" it at the balls and they go in...
hey, its an sp30

my sl10 also has the silver rings, and the veneer colors are different colors. it also has a dark stain. i emailed evan clarke and still waiting for response, but i think that it may have been one of the earlier model or special order sl10

Off topic, but i noticed your the first one to spell the last name you have as it sounds instead of "kuykendall" as mine is spelled.

This is just from my own research - The SL line was made approximately from 1995 - 2000. Your shafts should have the logo in script on them, correct? If your shafts have the Schon in script then the cue is definitely not "Runde era" as Bob was gone by that time.

I've noticed some of the lines were changed around a little, to be sold through different retailers, so there can be variation in them.

Evan can take up to a couple of months to answer his e-mails but I've always gotten answers. Usually they are short answers but he might be able to tell you a little more about your cue if he recognizes it.

that is the way my family has spelled it since 1800s, when spelling wasnt, with the exception of a few who spelled it kirkendall whjch was mainly military spelling. truth be known we are all probably connected somehow, i know i have more relatives then anyone i know. just curious but where are you from, if not to personal

Heya Troy...it's Ken from League....

If you bring it out to Mo-River on either a Monday or sometime when I can get out there I can tell you alot about your cue. I know you used to shoot with an STL-7 and I think I saw your SL10 at one of the Tournaments. I also have an SL10. Also have several Rundes so I am quite familiar with how to tell them apart. I may try and get ahold of you if I don't hear back from you. Pool Dawg is correct in that most splice point (sharp point) cues with the same design as the SL10 were sold as SP30's. I have an SP30 as well for comparison.

what would an sp30 be worth??? Its my avatar, can't see it real well... Got at a pawn shop about 10 years ago, paid 450.00 (which was ALOT for me to pay) It's George case, break cue, and thre micarta ferruled shafts all about 12MM. No logo on the shafts

edit...When was it made, how many were made? It has a real "fat" butt.

I'll give you a hundred bucks for her, but you need to change the pink wrap first.
