Schon Thoughts

I might get some flack for this but I think stock Schon shafts hit lights out. Super solid, I much prefer them to any low deflection shaft (just my opinion) on my cue. I'd rather compensate for deflection and have a hit that I like.

I have a mid 90's Schon with an original shaft and a new Schon shaft. There is some just something phenomenal about the older shaft. Its like you can almost "feel" the shaft when playing.

Don't label them as "production" because they make more cues than Tim Scruggs or Pete Tascarella. Evan makes a cue of the same quality as any of the custom makers on here. He's just able to get more cues to market because he's learned a few tricks, with 20+ years experience in CNC programming and building cues.

I'd label a Schon as every bit as custom as the "custom cue" you buy off the rack.

Exactly! Let's hope Scruggs never makes the same model more than once or twice...er...hmmm...let's hope Tascarella never makes the same model more than once.....ooops. What defines a "production" cue again?
