Scott Frost on Running Balls from POP (Power One Pocket)

I know we had a thread on running balls on www.onepocket.org posted by Larry aka III so I thought I would take the time to post a short clip from the chapter in POP (Power One Pocket).

We shot several runs like this in that Chapter, some easier and some harder with Scott explaining why and also goes deeper into talking about insurance balls, angles and other things.

I do hope you enjoy it and do not mind the audio hum as this is all pre-edited. Its all being edited now and that issue should be resolved (HOPEFULLY), dealing with poolhall equipment like machines running does not make it easy.

Scott is just awesome with the one pocket. He does a real good job explaining it too.

Very nice. Sunnofagun can shoot, eh? Does this DVD have any other camera angles? How long is it? What ground does it cover? Can you give a brief syllabus?

Yes it does have a secondary stationary angle that is squared up with the table so you can see things better. It will be about 1 1/2-2 hours long. It covers, the rack and break, returning the break, end game, running the balls, taking fouls, putting pressure on your opponent and many other things including fun stuff like shot and road stories. The DVD is not perfect as it was done in a poolroom and not a studio but the quality is better then most I have seen especially for the limited budget and being green in doing an instructional, the content is pure gold though. :)

that was a good video...actually taught a lot for a short video...

I'm brand new to one pocket and will definitely be buying this dvd

i don't want to be the only person in Phoenix that mlalum gives weight to anymore :)

Hey Abie. I agree, the instruction is clear and to the point with no milking it. We could have made 2-3 DVD's out of all the footage but if we can fit it on 1 disc saving us cost then we can pass that on to the players. :)

Thanks Lenny , great job
Please tell Scott thanks also, wish I could have played some with him while I was there. Maybe next time.

I think the the preview makes the coming DVD, to be something wanted by anyone's Chritmas list that wants to play One Pocket better.

Good on you for being concise. Bert Kinister could take a lessons in that. His 70+ videos could easily be compressed to 10 or less without losing any useful content.

Lenny, When you get the Ordering Page ready to go, please send me the links and I'll put up a little Advertisement on the homepage of AZPoolScene.com to help direct more people to purchase one of their own. Free of charge!

Have you considered using Dual layered DVD?. They can run up to 4+ hours in length. You could fit more on and charge a little extra. Just a thought. :)

oh gawd don't give him any ideas. I've been waiting for my copy since he said it would be out next month (May). please don't. please don't. :):):)
