Scott Gracio I want my cue or money back now.

Ah, the ole "we should be ok with thieves as long as they are only stealing from other people and not from us" logic. Says a lot about your character.

If you're going to troll someone, do it accurately. Don't post the part that suits you; post the whole thing.

"It's not even the OP that's resurrecting this 12-year-old thread. Scott's been posting beautiful new work on Facebook since at least 2023, and no one there is complaining. Maybe everyone should let it go if it wasn't your deal and use all the advice you've seen on AZ on how to safely buy a new cue."

he has always made nice cues that hit well for fair prices. and had a good reputation. if he did what you say that isnt good. not sending the cue back is the especially bad part. if true.

as for scott he is in business and is vulnerable to bad press. and should if smart come on here and state his case or refute the other's.

other wise it follows him forever. he may have personal reasons for not wanting to deal with this person. but when in business and where other similar people have screwed customers, it is imperative to put aside personal feelings and deal with the situation. especially since it is in public forums.

He made me this cue 15-20 years ago Didnt have any problems

so you had a good experience. as did many others. that isnt the issue. one person did not.

and scott never went to the internet where he was accused and replied. that always looks bad.
just say your side of the story in the post and be done with it. you dont have to keep replying and have an argument.

word of mouth was the old saying now with internet it is a giant word of mouth that cannot be taken lightly.

Addressing your crap logic and even crappier morality in this case is not "trolling".

Nothing in the rest of your post changed anything in the least, hence why I didn't quote that part. It wasn't the OP who resurrected the thread--immaterial to the issue. You feel Scott does beautiful work--immaterial to the issue. You haven't seen any theft complaints about him on his Facebook page in the last couple of years--immaterial to the issue (not to mention that there could have been some that you missed, or that Scott deleted before you saw them, but even if there weren't, still immaterial to the issue).

The issue is that sometimes, not every time, but sometimes the dude decides to steal, and as far as we know he still has not made at least this case of his theft right (which is why the person resurrected the thread, to confirm that was still the case).

Someone sincerely admitting to their mistakes and making them right can in some circumstances be grounds for "forgive and forget" second chances, but your attempted excuses of "it wasn't you he stole from" and "Scott makes good cues" and "in the last couple of years I haven't seen complaints of theft on his Facebook page where he could just be deleting those complaints before I see them" are not good enough reasons for everybody to just pretend that the thieving never happened, or that it couldn't easily happen again.

The signature in your post says you own one of his cues. Maybe you are just a biased friend or admirer of his. Maybe you are trying to protect the value of your cue. But for whatever the reason, your take on this one is devoid of logic and morality, and I think you know that but are allowing yourself to do it anyway for one of the above or similar reasons.

You're a troll because you only got involved to respond to my post, not the original post 12 years ago, or the bump. Much of Scott's response to the thread applies to you.

... and scott never went to the internet where he was accused and replied. that always looks bad. ...
Scott's previous interactions with the OP may have told him to just step away.

The OP had a total of 77 posts on AZB. Read through them and see if you would ever willingly have a transaction with him, based on those posts.

op's posts seemed to say he was in his 60's and was a cue buyer and paid scott 100 deposit. then gave 500 more when scott said he was low on money and needed some for a vacation. then sent more when scott asked for money for postage, twice i think.
then possibly scott sent it to the wrong person. and op never got it, or a replacement or cash back.
op was here in 2024. but not in awhile and i don't blame him, as there isn't any overwhelming of support for his case.

but no matter how bad someone is to deal with, you still need to get your product to him or return his money.
and with the number of posts op made about this it would lead one to believe some or most was true
