Does anyone know how Scott is doing.
Scott is a great guy and helluva player, I haven't heard anything about his recovery process but I hope he makes a full recovery.
We missed him at the Smoky MTN Shootout this year

I'm a big fan of Scott's. Nice guy and a great pool player. I haven't heard what happened to him. Hope he is ok.

Scott did a lot of commentary at the Grady Mathews Memorial last year. He was great! Eyes where healing nicely. Hope he gets where he can play again.

I see him all the time

If you just saw him sitting at a dinner table or something you'd think he was one of the most healthy people in the room! He takes good care of himself.

Most people know he had an unfortunate incident involving a brain Anurism among other things, he is healing but it's not known at this time to what degree his senses will return. He can hardly see, watching him play pool right now is depressing IMO. He still knows what to do and all but due to his poor eyesight and less than perfect feeling in one of his limbs he just can't do it right now(he can still beat most people haha but he's just a shell of his former self). Doctors say his vision will likely return to normal(I think) but there's no way to tell a timetable.

I for one would really like to see him get an oppurtunity to commentate some 1pocket or even 9ball matches. There aren't a lot of people on this earth who know the way the balls roll like he does and he's very articulate and intelligent. With a little practice he could be the best commentator in the biz if he wanted to.

First I had heard of this. I met Scott several years ago and thought he was a real nice guy. I understand he's an excellent One Pocket player though I've never seen him play. Hope he has a full recovery!

Terrible to hear he has had health issues. I have not gotten to see him play alot but he matched up with Edwin Montal in Las Vegas a few years running back when Edwin was playing pro and Scott gave Edwin everything he could handle. Scott impressed the hell out of me and on a Bar Box I can think of very few players I would say were clearly better.

Scott is a great guy and I wish him the best in his recovery. I found out about his ordeal at Derby this year, I was just talking to him with no clue. He is a fighter and has a great attitude so if anyone can come back strong it will be him.

I was there for that. He came out quite a bit winner in the end against EM. Edwin was ahead at first but Scott got there. That same trip he played Scotty Townsend for quite a while, he flat out heisted ST. That was during the BCA leagues tournament at the Riv. I think it was the year before when Scott played King Kong but idk for sure. They battled the whole weekend so it probably wasnt the same trip. King Kong lost his roar by the end of it too. That was probably the best matchup of the 3 IMO.
