That is SO cute! I especially like how the green guy tries to shark the purple guy by standing too close! 
I thought it was going to be a thread about the game of scratch pool where you make every ball off the cueball in a carom or combo. I love that game. I taught it to Louie Lemke and he ran 8 and out in 1 game.

When I read the title, that was my thougth. I teach this to people occasionally, so they can learn what is or is not a natural scratch shot. I tell them, "if you can learn how to scratch off the carom shot, you can figure out how not to."

Linda...You may call it scratch pool, but it's better known as Kiss Pool, and the rules for it were put down by Willie Jopling many years ago.

Louie was in town and I was house pro-ing at Jillian's in Seattle and we were playing a bunch of different games and I asked if he had ever played scratch pool or goofy pool as we called it, and he said no, so I showed him. I ran 4 balls and then he ran 8 and out.
I like the creativity of the game and it taught me the principle of shooting through the cueball to carom another ball instead of just using the tangent line. It also showed me how to draw straight back off a ball to carom (and how to deduce the angle of cut, which I showed Paul Gerni at Hard Times at an artistic championship because he could just not figure it out!
) and how to do some slick caroms with english and/or multiple rails.Linda...I know that you didn't mean that you invented it. Willie didn't invent it either. He just put down some rules, so that people could play/gamble by the same set of rules. I just thought you'd like to know the name many people call it. 
It's definitely a cool game, that teaches you a lot!
