i was looking at it and overall the scrim and the cue is beatiful at all places- not just the scrim. the whole thing works together. i guess what i am saying is that it is more than just a scrim cue.

I love the way the cue looks as well! The cue's six points are all long and the points and block rings are amboyna burl. Edwin did an awesome job with this cue giving it a very classic look! You're right, the cue isn't all about just the scrims but the entire package, I think Edwin said it best in an e-mail to me:
I designed the cue to keep the viewers focused on the main inlay pieces and all other features are supporting casts but equally important when the whole cue is considered. I stayed just a little over the classic look as this transcends time better than the trendy designs.
