Yo Zack,

Visited Master Bandido yesterday and saw your cue. All I can say is sweeeeeet! You are really one lucky devil!

At least I can be proud to say that I'm the 3rd person to have only touched you cue. :D

Hey now, who is the second...lol. Thanks Magnum, I'm really looking forward to getting it in my paws and try it out on the table!

Zack,

BTW, my cue was inspired by Frank Miller.

Thanks,

Peter

Wow I'm a fan of Frank Miller's work (the graphic novelist). Will you be adopting images from "Sin City"? That would be stunning.

Mr. Reyes seems to be the only choice for such a unique project.

How about a sneak peek?

Darn it!!!

Can't wait to see the leather installed. I somewhat suggested it (I think). :D

Sin would be cool. I used TDKR. I really really enjoyed that one I was basically reading them around the time they came out in 86. Some of the classic images. If you read in an earlier post by ER he said he redesigned the cue and it may be something like a cityscape. I am intrigued by it all and I am excited to see how it turns out.

Awesome! I'm sure the cue will be an excellent tribute to Miller & his classic TDKR. Perhaps Bandido can treat us with a peek.

What about Miller's "Ronin"?

I always liked TDKR, but Give Me Liberty was really really really incredible. It was as good as V for Vendetta. The fake Time magazine stories at the end of the books and the fake ads for the army. I am sure that is where they got that stuff for Starship Troopers. Hard Boiled was pretty good as well- with Nixon the tax collector.

The images for the cue should turn out well. ER asked if I wanted to try black MOP for them, but I like the ivory look with the scrim. From the looks of Zack's cue, they should be just fine.

Edwin, I apologize for putting you into this situation, and all because of my lack of ethics.
RZ, again, I'm sorry I brought up the whole copyright thing. I think it's clear that Jenn has no problem with it from her reply in another thread. She's looking forward to seeing it.

Not a problem Scott, it's always good to learn new things and to learn to be cognizant of legal issues regarding replication of designs or photos. Thanks!

I think you are absolutely right! I can't wait to be able to give my first review of how the cue plays and post some detailed pictures for the group!!

Have you played with the cue yet? Please give an update on the cue. Was trying to see when you said the cue would be delivered. Had a hard time trying to find it as the thread has become so long.;)

I actually don't have it yet...lol. You can be sure that as soon as I get it an log some hours with it I will give a detailed review of it! My understanding is I will get it sometime next month!!

went to bandido's shop today. Zack all i can say about your cue it AWESOME!!!

This inspired me to order another ER cue.

Of course same as before, the cue that I ordered will have scrimshawed windows.

I will post the picture (maybe sometime next year? :D :D :D ) when the cue is done.

might oughta go back to the one eye :)

does edwin reyes do all his own scrim?

I know what you mean about the one eye...lol. The only reason I'm putting my ugly mug up there is so that people know what I look like in case they want to say hi in Peoria...lol. I apologize for putting the rest of you members through such torment for the next two weeks!

And, yes, Edwin does his own scrim work!

It's being polished, so I am guessing that in a very very short time one lucky dude will be very very happy with the cue that he will be playing with. :D
