Have a look at the thread if you like but I was unable to complete it due to missing pictures. It was about a fake TS I came across. Sorry to waste your time, if I find the pics I need to complete this I will do so.

What would you think upon seeing this in a for sale ad for a sneaky pete?

Hey chop,

On my cell the pics are small, but is the vertical part of the
T missing? If so, I would be hesitant to flip the cash as much
as I love TS hustler's. (My current player)

If that picture was all there is, I wouldn't buy. It's not where Tim typically put the TS, and it doesn't look right either.

That is where the TS typically is on older ones.

After seeing that pic I would assume its an older TS Sneaky with 2 shafts.

Let us in on what happened.
 
I've had ts sneakies where some of the darkness in the logo was faint. Kind of tough to say with this one. The light appears to be coming straight over where the vertical part of the "T" is.

Probably it's legit but I'd request a better lit closeup before plunking down the $$$.

First, that's the real deal.

Second, I am now very embarrassed. I had planned to next post the pic of the fake I came across several months ago. I have been planning on doing this for some time. But now that I am at it, I seem to have lost the pictures of the fake.

I am really sorry to have wasted your time.

I am going through a couple of other computers to see if I might have saved theme there, but it is unlikely.

That real one does look strange and one would want to see more pictures and take every measure one could to be certain of course. The fake one actually looked better at a glance. It was only close detailed inspection that revealed the fake.

Again, I am very sorry to have wasted your time, I am very frustrated with this at this point.
 
Yes, I would say it is the real deal.

1). It is in the correct position for a Scruggs cue. It is the same as mine.

2). When cue are refinished, a slight amount of the wood is removed and that is probably what happened to this one.
