I misquoted Dennis on ebay and because of this I will not sell either cue. Dennis told me he would charge $600.00 for the work he did to each cue NOT 600 TO MAKE ONE. SO EVEN THOUGH I UNDER VALUED HIS WORK IT WAS WRONG. MR DENNIS I APPOLAGIZE PLEASE FORGIVE MY MISQUOTEING YOU. I work very hard and sometimes make mistakes when I get sleepy like now. Thank all of you. NIKi BOTH CUES ARE SOLD

Sounds like the cue that was on Fleabay a couple of weeks ago. I almost pulled the trigger on it. The finish looked pretty bad in the auction pictures; are you having Dennis re-finish it?

This was the auction. Auction never went to completion because if was "lost or broken"...I guess it was found. Just because Searing may have put some checked ringwork on the cue, does not make it a Searing cue. I have a horn cue that has a Szamboti blank....does that mean it's a Szamboti? I also have a an old huebler that Tascarella replaced the butt cap on....I guess it is now a Tascarella. LOL

Good luck selling you're $800 sneaky pete.

Yeah i feel the same way !!!!!!!!! I also had trouble spending 600.00 on my sneaky pete that was actually built by the maker.....:D

Searing Conversion Cue?

Looks like it's on Ebay now as a "Dennis Searing Conversion Cue/Scruggs".
Go figure!!!

That is how Dennis described it to me go tell him he is what you think and then eat those words they will go down with sugar.

The cue already has offers and Dennis told me the price to set so maybe we are both nuts me for sellinghim for not making moreof em

Huh??

Best go back to high school or get off the crack cocaine...it's not good for you.

Mr Searing sometimes reads and posts on here. Perhaps some of you guys who collect his cues and know him personally or professionally could ask him about this cue, ie, did he do more to it than add some rings/make a shaft to Scruggs specs? Would he categorize this as a Dennis Searing conversion cue?

Is the jt FF or piloted? If piloted do the shaft inserts become TIGHT when you screw them to the butt? weight? ferrules? sft sz? Tks

sal some people know too much. If you talk to Dennis tell him Nick says yo. Also I was so happy to get 1 cue I am selling the second cue to give all the profit to the old lady that sent them to me.I have had more high dollar scruggs cues than you have fingers and toes ask Timi. This joint was redone by Searing and this was the type work he did years ago. I am very sorry none of you were able to screw the old lady out of her cue and so is Dennis he hates people who buy his cues to resell. He has had 2 years of little production because of hurricanes. And being the workaholic he is I hope he catches up and alot of bumbs get stuck makeing nothing on his cues! I think if you really think about it if the cue was never upgraded and it has been it would be 600 easily so why would I bust my nuts and good rep for a lousy 300. What is your conseptual continueity Sal? I spelled that wrong just so you couldn't look it up.If you are as smart as I think you is rember this somethings are not about money.

Dennis described the joint as squeeze fit but I say piloted.191/2 Oz. and 2 13mm shafts. Sweet hitter. I keep one for me.

2 more questions--how much does the Q weigh? Is everything straight apart and togethor? Does the Q come with 2 or 3 shafts? Thanks

I mostly sold Timi's higher end cues when I was selling them. Now he will be retiering and can no longer give the sweet deals he used to. I have already been offered 300 and a scruggs sneaky that I sold in 92 it is unplayed. Another buddy I sold a 1/1 tourquise and ivory Scruggs offered 600. He is so tight he squeeks when he walks. I will try to add a pic of the joint on ebay.I also have a friend thinking of tradeing a old southwest cue for it. None of them ever heard of Searing they just hit a couple balls with the one that has a tip on the shafts.

bama you are so right. Why not call or email Dennis. I don't think alot about people who talk like there words are law but are so wrong it is a poor reflection of character. I have never seen so much mealy mouthed people be so wrong so now I am full of bologna? Are you same people going to tell Dennis he is full of it too.I would not be suprised if you did. This cue is the nuts! And to top it off I could probably spot most of you the orange crush.Get you some. But you should verify what little advice you give before you hear yourself babble.

Everything is straight together and seperately. The cue has 2 shafts one of Timi's 13mm and one Dennis did 13mm and I hate to say this but I think 191/2 would be within a 1/4 oz. I can wiegh them at work if the weight must be exact.
