Searing on Ebay - Opinions?

A Bit Steep...

A lot of money for a 4 pointer with no veneers. Pretty looking cue though.
Good luck to the seller!

Rob

ps. I have a 4 point Hercek w/veneers and ivory ringwork that can be had for less:)

the price is ridiculous

searing prices are high.

i think they are gonna stay that way for a VERY long time.

if youve ever owned on of his steel jointed cues, you would know why.

It is a very nice looking cue but I feel the price is too high for me to consider.
It appears that the seller has a good reputation and has been selling billiard items for over a year now.
I have been watching some of their items with interest but have not bit on anything - Yet.

The seller has been using the line of Husband Has Too Many Cues for over a year now.
How many cues and cases could they have from a collection?

Searing cues

They are the best playing steel piloted joint cues made today and worth every penny. I've owned a couple of his cues and have never had a complaint. The eBay cue is a little pricey, but I'm willing to bet someone will pick it up.
Just My 2 Cents,

I think the price is way out of line, IAW - Rediculous might be a better description -.

i just sold one on ebay for 2600(brought more than i thought),and it was 2004 brazilian rosewood(rare wood) 4 pointer with the ss short joint(which is what you want if you want a Searing),and also a third shaft which was a predator.i figure if i am buying a Searing the one i sold is worth about 500 more than this one.for my money the cocobolo joint detracts form value.

If I were to get a Searing it would be a SS joint. Love the traditonal joints and from what I am told it is harder to make a good SS joint than any other type.

Also agree with the husband has to (too) many cues. What does that have to do with anything. My wife does not interfer with what I own and I do not interfer with all the shoes, purses, jewerly that she has.

What about all of those cases? It is a business that they are running.

TOO MUCH FOR THAT CUE.

I love the look of Brazilian Rosewood.
Wonder how I missed that auction on E-Bay?
I should have gone for it...

seller is not the original owner.
dennis made the cue for a friend and said it was a very nice playing cue. one of only a couple cues he has made with a wood piloted joint.
seller accepted off ebay offer lower than starting bid.

seller accepted off ebay offer lower than starting bid and then changed mind. now says will let me know after talking to "husband" who is "out of town".

THE GUY WITH THAT USER ID IS NELSON REGALDO. I CAN'T REMEMBER HIS OTHER USER ID BUT HE HAS AT LEAST 2. I MET HIM IN PERSON IN VALLEY FORGE INVOLVING A TRANSACTION WITH THIS USER ID.
