Searing on ebay

What do you want to bet his friend doesn't see a penny of the windfall. ;)
That stinks that he is looking for a small windfall.
I will be interested in seeing how this auction goes.

Not the 1/2 joint that a lot of people seem to want but it sure looks like a "monster-player" of a cue. Like the phenolic full-size butt cap.

what ya all think is the value??
last plain searing that i saw on ebay that was pulled i asked how much she wanted and she said 2800.... then few hours later the cue auction was pulled...
looks like a player for sure..

Someone got to the guy pretty fast, the cue is no longer for sale.

I wonder what he took for it?

Better than that...I offered him a thousand and he didn't even return my email :D !

OK---i'll let the cat out of the bag...
1300.....overnight fed ex insured
I emailed him and got it... hope to have it tomorrow... i've been itching for a Searing, saw it and then saw this thread. morally- he's the one who should have a conscience-he seems young though..... then i figured someone'd try to steal it so i made the offer and gave him my cell number... better an AZ'er like me get it than a nobody.....
he's an APA 4 and happy playing with his Viking he said... HE DIDN"T EVEN TRY TO PLAY WITH IT!

HE PAID 70 DOLLARS FOR IT AND A CASE TO BOOT!!! He showed it to the owner of his poolhall-that's when he found out it was valuable-i'm sure the poolhall told him like 500 bucks...

If it wasn't you that got it, you can bet someone would have made him an offer he couldn't refuse. :)

It is better that someone here got it. Just too bad it wasn't me. :D :D

I imagine there will be a lot of people who will see this thread when they get home from work and will be kicking themselves all the way to work tomorrow, :D :D

Congratulations

$1300.00!!! Not only is the seller an APA 4 but a CRACK-ADDICT too! He has to be letting that cue go for $1300.00

so what ya all think it's worth?
Being honest- i have no idea.
I kinda looked at and went off bluegrass plain with 2 shafts new are now up to 1450-indyq...If it was a SW or a bunch others i could quote ya in my sleep.. but a searing has always eluded me- but i hear big frenzies over getting on and hitting one...so i've been watching but never see them without getting scooped up a minute after they are for sale.. today i was the one scooping.. lucky for once i guess..

Id say $1800-$2200. billiardcue.com has that no wrap, no points listed at $2800.00 w/ 2 shafts, so I feel that my "guess-ti-mate" is on target

I DON'T THINK IT BRINGS THAT. IT ONLY HAS ONE SHAFT WITH IT, AND THAT HURTS THE CUE. THE TULIPWOOD ONE THAT DICK ABBOTT HAS, IS UNIQUE, AND HAS TWO PRISTINE SHAFTS, AND THE CUE IS IN VERY VERY NICE SHAPE.

PS....MOST OF DICK'S STUFF IS PRICED WAY OVER MARKET VALUE. I SOLD THE CUE THAT DICK HAS ON THE SITE FOR 1800.00.

wow- now that tulip handled Searing is smokin'!!
definitely adds big to the value of the cue imho--- for any maker it would....cuemakers add 100-200 for a wrapless handle of maple usually...

Right on Marcus. A cue is worth what ever someone is willing to pay for it,but that doesnt make it acually worth that to everone else!
