Found this story about a cop busted there for gambling in 1930.

Yes... it's the old Aurora Billiards.
It was right next to the Davenport Hotel.
And it was located on a street corner... and it was fairly easy to get to because it was on a street car route.
I should add that there was gambling and card playing there as well
