Seen the new Brunswick Exposition Novelty?

I personally think it's terribly gaudy.... While I can appreciate the workmenship in the woodworking in it, I would never let that table set foot in my house...

Beautiful, but not in my house. For $40k, I would rather buy a monster Black Boar.

ok...i hear ya....but check this out...when i win the lottery, and i'm designing my summer home in the alps, that table will look real good in the "victorian" themed parlour. (you could never make it work in the japanese tea room)

on saturday nites, i'll dress up my lady in a big hooped skirt with a wishbone corset, and i'll put on my powdered wig, wool coat and riding boots...

...and i'll have the perfect table for the occasion

And for $40k I expected that it would come with a table cover but they want another $120 for that.

For 40K you could probably pick up a restored BBC from that era. Maybe not that model but something nice. Thing is if you have to have an antique looking table why not get a real antique table.

With that being said, they probably will sell all they make (from the nameplate it is a limited edition) to people who have a bunch of money who want that type of table and are thinking they will have something that will appreciate in value.

I love the work. But, 40k$ .. If I had 40k$ to through away to buy this table, I would have to spend 300k to 400k$ to buy a bigger house. to fit that monster.

exactly right, and you could sell it for 40K,

this table is worth $12,500 on a good day selling it in the current market.

Tell me about it. My table cost 2 percent of the cost of the Brunswick Exhibitionist (yup), and my Realtor still nailed me for 365K just to accommodate an 8-footer.

For 40K, I'd buy a Caddy and take a motor trip of great U.S. pool halls.

IF I haf the cash and I liked this table, id find an original.. That would atleast justify the price.

Id rather have the old one made by people that cared rather then the new one being built by children or dirt dirt cheap labor by a company that did once care about passion.

It's time for brunswick to get out of billiards and go boating in their bayliners
