Segmented cues please post pictures

i am getting ready to build my first all ivory segmented cue i would like some ideas just don't know where to start i have just got some handle size ivory that the grain is unbelievable will make sharp cue thanks

I would amagine it would be best to core but I am not sure.

wow those are some amazing cues, I wonder why there arnt more of them around, I for some reason dont see many pics of them, perhaps I'm missing them. Someday I might get one. but more importantly congrats to those who have them!!!!

Here are a couple of cues a local buddy of mine has made. One is pretty close to being a Martin Tribute cue with the nine segmented ivory cored rings for the handle.

If you don't core the ivory the cue would weigh 3 or 4 pounds. It's very dense and heavy.
