A rare chance to own a perfect eye catcher - feel like "Al Capone" !
Up for sale is a brand new finished Violin case which is modified
to hold 2 butts and 4 shafts. There is a 7th tube containing a deluxe
"Cohiba" cigar for special victorious moments.
All tubes are covered with finest dark green velvet. Every shaft and butt,
including the Cohiba, fits perfect in its tube and holds by itself. The opened
case can be turned upside down without falling out a single piece.
All parts are sinked that deep in the case that they don´t touch each
other in the closed case. This case is for sure a unique collectors item
and also provides best protection for your stix. Here the chance to own
this rarity. I´m open for all serious cash offers and trades on duerrth@aol.com

Doubts ....

Seeing how I played in the Orchestra all through
grade school, junior high, and high school, I would
have to disagree with you. A violin case would not
be long enough for cue butts or shafts, nor anywhere
big enough for a 2 x 4 case. It looks more like a
guitar case to me, or another instrument.
(I played the viola 1 yr., violin 1 yr, and cello after that).

The case has a length of 80 cm (31,5 inch) outside. The available space inside was 78 cm (30,7 inch). My butts are 76 cm ( 29,9 inch) long, which is nearly standard). So no problem. Believe me, it is a Violin case.

I throwed out all the inner life and builded it up completely new inside by use of synthetic foam to get perfect holding tubes.

Best regards

If the Cohiba is Cuban, be careful about shipping it here - they're banned.

Took some better pics now.

You can tell by the label alone that the Cohiba isn't real. That doesn't mean its a bad cigar. A lot of the fakes taste good. And hell, getting a complimentary stogie with a case is a nice gesture too!

Thats not right. The cigar is original cohiba - but not the tubo.
The Cohiba Siglo-5 was the only cigar which has been sold in
Germany comletely with an original nice metal tubo. But these ones
sold out about 2 years ago. So I had to take a solid black tubo
and modify it a bit. But as I told you the Cohiba is original. You can
imagine that the 25,- $ US for the Cohiba so no big part of the
complete amount of the case. So it was important for me to
keep the style of the case and have it with one of the best cigars
as I like it.
All the best from Germany.

I am really liking the concept here.... Kinda like the El Mariachi guitar case....

if your selling something it would be nice to post a price..........the case is a nice concept..nice job..

Here some new pics after modifying the case with a MP3-player.

This is a one-of-a-kind violin case which is modified as a cue case and holds 2 butts and 4 shafts. There is a 7th tube containing a deluxe "Cohiba" cigar for special victorious moments. The case also features a 128MB-MP3-player connected with a speaker and a
separate battery. The speaker is covered with velvet. The holes for the
MP3-player and the battery locks by using a magnetic system. Even the
chalk has its own hole. All tubes are covered with finest dark green velvet. Every shaft and butt, the Cohiba, the MP3-player and all the other parts are fitting perfect and hold by itself. The opened case can be turned upside down without falling out a single piece. All parts are sinked that deep in the case that they don´t touch each other at closing the case. The case has a length of 80 cm (31,5 inch) outside. The available space inside is 78 cm (30,7 inch). My butts are 76 cm ( 29,9 inch) long, which is nearly standard. This case is for sure a unique collectors item and provides best protection for your cues.

Just wanted to share the pics with you.
