after reading just half the post, gartland was my thought, even before you mentioned him.

if it makes you feel any better, you were not the first he's done this to.

you know looking through your cues after my initial post my answer is still the same. However I would have most certainly not done the deal. Not going to pay for new tips for cues that are in the 2k and above range. Its a nickel and dime bs move.

Change the deal once, maybe. Change it a second or third time, and not once in my favor...

Everybody gets their stuff back, unnamed party pays ALL shipping. And, gets bad trader comment, while "POOLPLYR1111" gets good or no feedback.

I agree with jayman. He had your cue in hand then shipped his to you, so he wasnt too iffy about the deal. I'd say screw him and keep it if thats what you really want.

well guys i appreciate all the suggestions and support. i have made the decision to ship the cue back to the mystery person. of course it will be after i receive my items first. i have learned my lesson and will never ever contact this person again. this gentleman expects perfection for nothing. in the eyes of this seller whatever cues you may have to offer are surely garbage and definitely not "quality".

Apparently the entire thread is about bad dealings with someone from Quality Cues. With all that has been said in this thread, I would never do any business with them myself.;)

I really hate this shit, but what comes around go's around, and for those who like to play games, thing always even up down the road!!!!!;)
 
When I found this forum after many years of being away from pool, I was very impressed especially after a couple deals with Bama. Since then I'm sad to have to say that I've encountered more than my share of shady characters. Is it the nature of pool players to try to get over on everyone ?

Just recently I bought a few items that a member was selling. I received the items promptly and was very disappointed with the low quality. I quickly PMed him and told him that I couldn't use the items. He never answered the PM. A pox on him, but what's wrong with this picture in general ? What's happened to integrity ?

I want anyone who buys anything from me to be completely delighted or I'll take it back...PERIOD. That's the only way to operate...Tom
 
Who is this person??? There has been mention of Mike Gartland but he has not replied to this thread,we need to be sure before we condem a person,well Mike???
