Well that was helpful.my shaft sometimes comes loose.......... I just tighten it back up and I don't whine about it on the internet

It didn't sound like a whine to me, just a simple inquiry as to what could be causing the issue.my shaft sometimes comes loose.......... I just tighten it back up and I don't whine about it on the internet

RealTry a little rosin powder on the threads. Might give it enough "stick" without hurting anything.
lol...... just me poking......It didn't sound like a whine to me, just a simple inquiry as to what could be causing the issue.
This comment is addressed to fellow lefties. Years ago had this issue with my first cue. Took me eons to figure out I was inadvertently loosening the shaft ever so slightly with the grip in my left hand. That hand naturally wants to turn in the direction as if opening a door knob.
Right handed.I have had an issue with a shaft that wanted to tighten mightily. I was wondering if the OP was left handed and that was loosening the shaft. Obviously doesn't apply to all players or all shafts but I reflexively check my shaft for tightness at the start of every inning now.
Good Answer!

Correct, most certainly was not a whine. Was inquiring as this is the first cue I have ever purchased. Now I have a question about new cloth for my table, is that going to be considered a whine as well? lolIt didn't sound like a whine to me, just a simple inquiry as to what could be causing the issue.
I thought I might me so I took video and it doesn't seem like I am.cocking your wrist?

I despise uni-loc. My ikon would come loose during play at times. All of their break shafts at the least should be radial imo. I am glad to see the limited runs of cues they now offer now have radial. That is a solid pin. My revo fits super snug on my sneaky radial. I can't see it ever coming loose with how snug the tolerances are.Uni-lok joints are horrendous for loosening up. I love my BK Rush - best break stick I ever owned. But every once in a while it loosens up. I chose to just tightening it up every break rather than use shaft wax as I've done on Uni-lok shooters in the past. I no longer use the Uni-lok joint. My Predators, other than the BK Rush, are all Radial joint. I wish Predator would go to the Radial joint exclusively.
