Shafts can be straightened

Do you do everything strangers tell you to ??

I had a real nice cue once that had a warp. An old guy from the pool hall told me to hang it by the tip outside my back door for a couple weeks. Said the cool moist air at night would help and all...
Someone stole it after a couple nights so I dont know if it worked... :p

Remember the old guy who told you to leave it on the porch . . . . . he had a nice shaft made for that cue . . . .

now , this Friday night , leave your paycheck under the front mat . . . .

Shafts

I've used this method, less the heat...never tried or though to, with some success. Many times the warp would come back in time. I'd just fix it again. My dad use to own a fishing and archery shop. He had little machine for spinning arrows to find the bend. Once you found the warp you would use the little bar to apply pressure opposite to the warp. I wonder if this device would work for cues. It was like this.

Here is how I do it.

I sell the cue and tell the buyer that the shafts have a little "taper roll"....
