Until last night, I thought this was resolved as well, I called and talked to Shane and found out it's not

Thanks for placing the call Glen. I truely appreciate your assistance. Shane explained that he's got some issues to deal with right now. I still believe that he had every intention of following through with our agreement, but life circumstances got in the way. I have decided to drop the issue entirely, so as not to become yet another challenge for his family to over-come. I wonder if Dartman would do the same if he were in my shoes? He seems more like a "part of the problem" kind of guy that leaves a bad taste in your mouth. :barf:

I saw the negative feed back that you left for me. I'm sorry that you find my post offensive, but it is important for others to know what kind of person he is. Would you want a theif doing a job in your home? No doubt that I'll never see my $1,000 again, but that doesn't mean that he should be allowed to do the same to someone else. There are consequences for a person's actions.
Again, I'm sorry if I have offended you in some way. I think you would be pissed off too if this had happened to you.

I gave you both green to offset the reds you each got.
If I had stopped running all over the place trying to get the business I need and stayed put long enough to contact him more, then this would never have escalated. I lost track of time dealing with all of the situations that started hammering us last fall.
I'm not making excuses or condoning anything,Troy is doing exactly what you, me, or anyone else on here would have done in the same situation.
After getting more detailed facts about why everything has been so screwed up, which you know a good portion of after dealing with one of my customers last week, Troy has once again proven that he is a man of really strong integrity.
Everyone that has been kept privvy to the information pertaining to Troy and myself knows how much this has been staring me in the face everyday.
Literally.
It is set up on the computer screen everytime one of us is on it.
Troy is a true class act, and is obviously doing a better job than I am as a family man, so all I can say is that I cannot fault his approach.
I would of course preferred it to be in a different manner, but now that it's past, I would prefer to go forward in a more positive manner between the great members of this forum.
He is a great contributor to the forum as are you and a good many others.
There is alot of knowledge to be pooled there and shared, and as much as people enjoy the public arguing, I don't want them to get the satisfaction of it being performed by two longstanding members such as yourselves.
I appreciate the input and posts, but can we please just get past the present and get back to doing what we do?
There are more important things, like supplying information, services, and improving our industry that is up to us to provide.
I hope this makes sense, as I still haven't been to bed, and that we can agree to end this.

I removed all of those remarks that I made because I understand his situation and have forgiven his debt to me. That's right, I'm walking away from the $1,000+ that he owes me, no strings attached. If nothing else, that's an extremely expensive testiment to my character.
