The amount of time he has put in to play as well as he does is something that 99.99999% of all of us will never know!

It's too bad he is the only American player at the present time who has ability to compete AND win at this time! Again, congrats to Shane!

It would be cool if the top pros would wear those type shirt
at tournaments. Maybe with a unique small # and their name or
nickname on the shirts.

first off congrats to svb very deserved winner and played great

2nd of all those shirts were horrible, they looked like fake bowling shirts

lastly, I have never been on the svb nut hugger chain unlike lliakos corvette cardigan hangthe9 etc but i took a reflective moment watching this and I will happily say i think the 800lb gorilla in the room is gone and svb is currently the best player in the world (j bergman/shaw might be close 2nd om current form)

as ive always said shane is phenomenal, when i get into the discussion is when people say he is the the best player bar none to pick up a cue

daz is phenomenal, earl, efren ko pin yi, busty ralf neils there all there abouts
but YES I would take shane over anyone right now

i think his poor display in china was the catalyst for him to get his form back, after he won the world pool masters last year he struggled with form in the early part of this year, so ill be curious to see how he finishes the year off and does at turning stone and mosconi
