The Action Report has putting some great pay preview match such as Alex v.s Shane in a race to 100 for $20,000.00. This was the best match up you guys have done period! I would like to say the other match ups where ok. I would like to see Shane and Johnny match up in a race to 100 . This would make a great pay preview match and a great dvd. These are the best american rotation players today and both are great gamblers. This just my 2 cents and i think other people would agree with me they would like to see this match. COME ON GUYS MAKE THIS MATCH HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE VOTE !! ON THE POLL IF WANT TO SEE THIS MATCH

I'd much rather see a 14.1 long race from TAR in the near future. 4 names are coming to mind - Hohmann, Schmidt, Harriman and Sigel. I'd love to see ANY of these guys get it on, best 2 of 3, race to 500.

I think this would be a good match in 9 or 10 ball but there should be some stipulations from Shane to stop Archers slow playing nit picking on purpose sharking tactics. I have seen JA do this several times live when he is behind several games at DCC and US open and it is not fair to his opponent.--Leonard

when you shoot at archers speed i think you can play however fast or slow you want to.

I THINK IT SHOULD HAPPEN IT WOULD BE GOOD BUSINESS AND as the lint picking goes i would take my time to if i played his level as well

I've watched JA many years and I don't think his abilities to pocket the balls change from table to table. So playing out side of his table at home or his pool room doesn't effect his game the way most would think. If anything he is known for being one of the best at adjusting his game to the conditions.

enough with the lint picking excuses johnny dont gotta shark nobody to win. he the best playerwhen playing for the money.thats why his oppents get scared because they know the only way then can win is if johnny beats himself. nobody can match his firepower and will to win.

Guess you never heard about him matching up with Francisco years ago. Playing for a few jellybeans, Johnny broke and ran the set against Francisco. As soon as they were done, Busty asked if he wanted to double the bet. Johnny said no. Johnny then proceeded to book loser on the night. So, tourney win, cash loss. He's mortal, just like the rest of the top 10.

JA isn't known to pick bad games and if he's been in one it seams hard for anyone to remember when it was.

I watched archer play nevel in southcarolina on that gold crown that was supposed to be tough. And it didnt seem to affect johnny one bit.You can never bet against archer for the cash. If you do it will get you broke

I agree don't bet against archer for cash. I would like to see any american player out there play him for the cash and lets see what will happen.

I like Archer I dont care where they/who he plays or what kind of table or the conditions are etc......Not saying he can't be beat but if you bet against him long enough you will be sleeping in a van down by the river.

curious?

Not trying to argue here, i'm just curious. Didn't that happen in the finals of a tournament, JA blank him the first set, and then Django beat him two sets in a row to win the tourney?(I want to say it was the old FL tour, around 1993)

Wow, you guys need to get the story straight. Johnny did NOT book a loser that night. I won't go into it all; but, they ended up even. Ask Django if he wants ANY of Johnny now, or even back then. Look, I've won EVERY time I've bet on JA. Name one person, just one, that he didn't beat or break even with overall. Anyone?
