Shane VanBoening VS: Chang Jung Lin Tomorrow LIVE in Ft Worth Tx

lol.

Did you hear the announcer? When Chang swang his cue (yep, the Chang swang) at the bug, the announcer said

"Ill bet he could catch it with 2 cues".

A not-so-subtle reference to catching a fly with chopsticks.

After all, don't all Asians catch flies with chopsticks??

Sheesh.

Actually, the white kid(Daniel) is the only one who caught a fly with chopsticks.

Musahi, Japan's greatest swordsman...if he had chopsticks, the flies were history.

If Mr Fly had to choose between sword, chopsticks or 2 cues , he would for the sword. He would be in 2 pieces but at least it will be fast and “painless” and he would be in 2 rather than bits and pieces

You obviously don't understand what would offend the Taiwanese. I have lived there and been there many times. I have relatives living there. I just came back from there last Sunday from an 18-day vacation.

They would have laughed at that comment and thought it funny.

They would have considered him using two cues to grab a fly a "talent".

Not everyone is offended by humor.

Wow, at 27-37, Shane was about to bring it within 10 racks but hung a ball again. He sure hung a lot of balls this match
That could be the key rack. Chang 38-27 and breaking

Again Shane hangs a ball. This time 9 ball and Chang is out to get to magic 40.
40-28
Race to 22 and Chang needs less than half the distance

Chang 42-28 and breaks dry and open table for Shane
14 rack lead same as at start of session

That’s not 18 mph, CJ. I’ve clocked Shane’s break dozens of times. That’s 22 or so. He amps up to 24 playing 8-Ball. But for sure it’s not under 20.

Well in this day and age of PC, it was a VERY racially insensitive and potentially offensive remark, that an ANNOUNCER on a public show should not have made.

In such long races, when one player has dominated and has big lead , it becomes bit boring
That is why I still far enjoy tournaments much more than such one to one long races. There are just less plot twists and turns, thrills compared to tournament matches.

Have you never seen karate kid? Holy crap dude, it was a joke, get over it so we can enjoy what was play by play of a match we are interested in.

Update on score?

Chang 45-31 and back to 14 rack lead
Race to 19 and Chang just needs 1/4 the distance

I just played 500 a set for 3 days straight at SBE.
Busted casino for a bunch this weekend.
Got plenty for you and my money will be posted.

Is that offer open to everyone?

If not, take it private. The rest of us are tired of hearing it.

I'll take that spot the next time you visit Hawaii and I have never seen you play.
