I got a room reserved and am driving from Independence,MO.
Leaving the 3rd, and staying for it all. 1/2 room is $431.00
P.M. me LES
 
Am I missing something? The rooms are $75.00 a night x 9 nights = $675.00, plus taxes. They should be charging you the standard $75.00 a night rate. The DCC rate rooms are not sold out, as I just reserved a room for the 8th-12th.

Supposing he checks in a day early making his stay 10 nights. His figures aren't that far off.

The Hotel is very close to the airport so you can shuttle I believe. If you want to stay in the hotel the entire time then you will not necessarily need a car but you may get tired of the restaurant and snack bar.

I will be there for 4 days and I probably won't leave the place. The food is mediocre at best but I am not there for the cuisine. I can eat at nice places any of the other 361 days next year.
 
I go to Kroger when I first get there. Other than that I usually don't leave.
