Well it's about 45 minutes in and jayson is up 10-0. Shaw is making it look way too easy

Like Appleton, Shaw is an 8-ball specialist. This was the discipline where John was a big longshot.

A Specialist is exactly what he is. For the 8 ball fans out there like myself this is a treat to watch

I would have loved to watch, but work got in the way. I wish they would have selected another game like straight pool or one pocket instead of playing 9 and 10 ball.

These too should play a race to 100 bar box 8 ball. That would be a good match to see as Morra plays really well on the small table.

I'm not specifically an 8 ball fan, but I do dislike rotation games... damn I wish I didn't miss this. Not only do you get to see a great player, but you get to watch them design their own patterns.

Yes score was 15-4.
I think both players missed 5 balls each. Jason missed 6 if you count the 1st shot in the last game which imo was not makeable. He attempted a shot where the cue ball and object ball appeared to be frozen at an extremely steep angle, jacked up at 90% and attempted it in the side pocket.

John kept breaking dry from the same spot until the score was 8-0 I think. He could not make a ball on the break. Jason also ran out every time at the table including his breaks and the breaks John made no balls. John finally changed his break spot after 8 games, thank god :D.

They did play on the tightest table at Kings and I think the misses midway through the match and at the end by both players were due to the tight pockets.

That being said Jason played unbelievable 8-ball the entire match.

I had a side bet on John and lost :D

There were also 0 safety's played the entire match by either player .
