Same here...and use their triangle boxes...ABall said:I always ship cues USPS priority. I think it's the cheapest fastest way to ship.

Good luck

Your post is interesting pertaining to Fedex. Fedex is the best by far in my area and i've shipped a lot of cues with Fedex and i've never had a problem. Maybe i've just been lucky.......Tank138 said:You can turn the box inside out & use anyone .
I WILL NEVER use FED EX to ship a cue out of 5 time sending & receiving cues through FED EX they only got a signature ONCE !Then they refused to pay for a lost- declared- value cue.
Now I only ship by express mail or priority mail .no problems ever getting payed for a late express delivery. They always have a signature for me.

I had a cue crushed by UPS and USPS has delivered a few cues with holes in the boxes and the ends mashed in, but luckily they didn't damage the cue like UPS did.

Post Office has FREE shipping Tri Angles, and if you Put your Cue in a PVC pipe, wrapped in Baby flannel it is a great shipping combination.
Personally both UPS, and Fed X claim process is no customer friendly. IMHo they will do anything not to pay a claim...![]()

I could be wrong but i think UPS and FEDEX charge extra for a triangle box.jgpool said:Free shipping on triangles? Are you sure?
DrJ said:Now you guys really have me spooked...I've never shipped a cue before, and I was planning on shipping a potentially expensive cue after the holidays to be authenticated...I was planning on using Fedex, (based on a recommendation)...now I worry about the cold weather aspect, and also what I'm hearing about carriers trying not to pay claims if something is lost...I was planning on at least setting the insurance at 2-3K or more, maybe that will at least make them pay attention to the required signature etc....
Str8PoolPlayer said:All of the afore mentioned Carriers will get a signature if you specify it (in some cases it costs extra) ... I would never send an expensive cue without some type of signature confirmation ...
