Can you explain the ABS a little? how much of the cue gets cored with it and is it heavy? Whats the purpose of it? If this is something you have already explained and you can point me to the thread I'll go look myself but I am curious ....

On this cue its just the bumper set up. Nothing special really. Instead of rubber I wanted a phen permanent bumper to accept the extension. I didn't have a solid piece large enough so I sleeved a piece of tube with abs and bored & tapped that....now the extension snugs up very firm and screws & unscrews like butter.

Just wanted to thank Kevin yet again for this cue and proud to say I still consider it my backup cue, only to my Sugartree. I often take it out when I want to carry just 1 cue as it truly is a solid player all the way around
