for someone who doesnt know when things might be said facetiously.....
would anyone really try to make a billiard that way with someting on the line???
That does look like a toughy. I played 2 days ago, for the first time in about 6mo and it was painful. I had to stop after about 20 min, to keep me from smashing my cue.
Does anybody like thinning the yellow's left side and going end to end to pick up rails? Tat is where I usually go, when stumped. Unfortunately, I stink at 3c, so if I strike the red, it has equal chances of doing so, anywhere between 1-5 rails.
I might also choose the force follow into the yellow's corner...I believe that option was previously noted...
Actually not a very hard shot, guys. Shoot off the red, send the red slightly toward its corner, HL english -- L-S-L-L either on the yellow or L-S-L-L-S finish coming behind it. The red position makes it fairly easy to miss the kiss whereas the Yellow position is a tough one. I set it up on my table and made 4 of 5 (never a kiss, but missed the yellow once).
I missed the second try, added a bit more english to see if it could be be made from the bottom short rail -- missed by a diamond. (I realize you were being "smart" -- but we don't know each other that well....)
