They are still readily available, you just have to do a small bit of asking.
Just didn't want you to think you were going to get 200 a book for them.
Ok thanks. Id like to get 400 for one of them and the second one is free. jk
I was hoping to get 400 for both, is that too much? If it is, can you please point me to where I can get them cheaper.
Thanks.

The winning one pocket is a little beat up. But it is the first edition.

From a book collectors point of view, the first edition is the more
collectable (and there is no risk of it being a re-print) Do you have the erata sheets ?
Straight from Eddie Robin:
Continually Increasing Prices Reversed: You may've noticed prices for my books increasing with most of my auctions between 1998 and 2005
and that others have auctioned less-than-perfect or much used, worn, or damaged books for as much as $300, $500,
and even higher in that same period. Despite their continual increase in value over those years,
in effort to prevent their cost from reaching ridiculous prices,
I'd decided to sell remaining books at somewhat lower prices from that point on.

I'm going to interject my 2 cents on this subject.
In 2005 I took a friend to Eddies' apartment in Las Vegas, who purchased
every book Eddie had left, according to Eddie. I personally shipped 3
boxes of books to this man in Oregon from Nevada. These included
allegedly the last known lizard set, the last of the bonded leather sets
(the ones with the stamped signatures in them),
and a full box representing the "last" of the plain ones.
He even purchased some other rarities, such as a book still in the shipping
box that Eddie sent to himself as a poor mans copywrite. In thanks for me making the
introduction, I was given a Position Play book by the man from Oregon that Eddie had
previously refused to sell as the inside front pages were glued in upside down at the publisher.
My point in all this is that I find it quite
curious how all these W1P and SMS books keep showing up on ebay
from Eddie direct in "brand new" condition
after this man from Oregon purportedly bought the last in existence ?
Can anyone else smell re-prints ?

Have some recall of that sale. Have not yet found exact date of sale. If you thought there was another printing since then why didn't you simply ask me? It was around May of 1995 I believe because I recall the weather--it was a warm day. If you are insinuating that there was an additional printing of any of those books since then you are mistaken. It so happens that there was a second printing of one of my books, but it was previous to that point in time. I originally had thousands of W1P, SMS, and P3C books in their various editions but only W1P and SMS in regular editions remain (very few of the W1Ps).
I simply indicated to you that there were not many W1Ps left And there were not and there ain't!!! and might have indicated as to being fully out of P3C books as well! I've sold out of P3C books since around that point in time and maybe that is the cause of what I will consider a misunderstanding (for it well might have been for the people involved seemed quite nice). I've recently been lucky enough to get my hands on another excellent condition P3C book just a week ago and that sort of thing has happened from time to time over the years.
If I was sufficiently wealthy I'd hire someone to do nothing but straighten out all the misinformation and innuendo can find re myself and my books on the internet, billiard mags, and billiard forums! If ya think our government contains a great many unethical people, just take a good look at our own group (the pocket billiard world)! However, I have enough people taking shots at me without exposing more such individuals.

Just realized previously put in date of May 1995 instead of 2005. Also realize that it was around that date that i'd run out of P3C books, W1P signature editions, and "lizards" BUT NOT OUT OF REGULAR-EDITION W1Ps OR SMSs. Believe I now understand the beef! Customer gets plenty of my books figuring on selling them for big bucks after I'm all out and then sees I'm still not fully out of all editions and sees me keeping the cost from getting ridiculously high (various editions of my books have sold for as much as $500 or higher). Those actually books WILL go way up in value when I'm completely out of all editions and if I'm still unable to get back into the business. Another possibility is how some having my first edition get upset from seeing me explain to my readers how the first edition was full of errors due to mishap on printer conversion program and how my second edition of that book is the much expanded and fully corrected version. Whereas collectors prefer first editions, pool players wanting to learn naturally prefer the second edition. Many have complained to me about this but my main responsibility is to the readers.
The Oregon buyer in my presence was told by you that what he bought
was all that was left. He would have written you a much larger reader
had he known there was more "inventory" at that time available, and
I would have been mailing several more boxes northbound that week.
The beef is in fact mis-representation to this man, as he paid more
for those books in quanity than what you are selling them for
presently on ebay.
It was my reputation that put him in your presence, and it is my
reputation that took a black eye.
the beef is legitimate.
Do not email me anymore.
Danny Hepler,
Have your friend contact me and produce the paperwork for I'd like to buy back much of what he has for the same prices he had originally paid if in same condition of course. I'm broke as usual but expect to be able to raise the money to do this withing few weeks.
Eddie Robin
He will contact you on Monday.
They are still in the same boxes as shipped.
There are only 3 people that know what was said,
two of them disagree with you.
Do yourself a favor and put those things out on paperback as the
previous post suggested, maybe HBP or KEA will stake you![]()
