i think there are many meucci lovers still out there. show me what you have and tell me your thoughts about this brand.
thanks!

Here is my old Meucci Original. I would NEVER touch a new one as I think they hit like crap. I have recently switched over to my Sugar Tree as my main player. This was my main player for 12 years.

Like I've said before:

"I think the people that bash Meucci's have never played with one, and the majority of the players who try them, like them."

here's a scan of an old pre-1980 rambow butt hoppe that we once had refinished. check out the straight grain maple. that was one nice cue !!

Some nice cues in this thread. Unfortunately i can't find any pics of my old JR-1, that was a really nice cue. Hopefully I'll own another meucci original one day.

like the old saying "They dont make them like that anymore."

Meucci to this day still makes some very attractive cues.

One is a copy of the MO-4 (it was made the first year they started using the new logo, so its under a different name now) and I think it was made anywhere from 94-96 as I cant remember which year they swtiched. I bought a new Meucci HP-3 because I thought my original shaft was lost by the post office. I might would even sell the HP3 for the right price.

I own a predot shaft, a reddot and blackdot shafts. The Blackdot is the stiffest but I cant put any English on the ball (gonna change to a milkdud and see what happens) and the reddot and predot are inconsistent.

Gotta love a Meucci. I used to own 3 of them. Ended up trading them but I still love them. I still have the pictures of them in my photo profile click on the names below to see them.... I do miss my meucci original. Anyways, nice looking cues everyone.

I agree. There are a few Meuccis that I really love, some I really hate, but you cannot argue the fact that they have a nice traditional look about them. I know there are a lot of people that like to bash them but consider the fact that Bob has been making cues for almost 40 years. He has not strayed from his construction techniques, he brought the term "deflection" to the forefront before there ever was a Predator, and most importantly, they sell. The hit is not for me, but that is me. Play with what you like.

I have been through about ten Meucci's. All of them late 80's and early 90's. I loved those cues for a long time, but when I saw the quality issues with some of the new ones, it soured me. The older ones played great but I have migrated towards firmer hitting cues. With the market as it is, a guy could get an older Meucci for a very fair price, if he was looking.

Ivory Crown Jewel and Whitten

Joe just finished this case for me. It features a slab of ivory used by Bob Meucci when he was designing the Crown Jewel prototype. It was eventually given to Jim Rempe. I thought it might make a unique accent to the case. The cue is #16 of the few ivory versions Bob has out there.
