Hi All;

I'm new to this forum as a poster though I've been reading for awhile. Here's my recently converted basement complete with a magnificent playing Gold Crown 1, circa 1962.

Here's a view from each corner of the room. My wife gets aggravated because I keep the table and bar pushed back. I will not tolerate my cue hitting furniture! Especially a South West! The last picture is the view from my computer chair. That's where I spend the majority of my time.

One question though, the lights above your table, it's 4 x 4ft flourescent bulbs, right? And are you using standard bulbs or the HO (high output)?

I used two 4' long (2-tube) flourescent lights. I have no idea what kind of bulbs I used (I know they are nothing special), but I recommend you use the plastic sleeves you can buy that surround the entire length of the bulb. If you bust one or one falls out, the sleeve will contain most of the glass & such to make clean up very easy. This setup lights the table very nicely, but if I have one bulb burn out...its very noticable.
