Show me your wrapless cues

Here's a new Jamie Crouch I have in the sale section. Very cool wood in the segmented handle.

I had one of these in Purple Heart that was an awesome player. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, it's absolutely lovely. I've not seen a more beautiful wood (but maybe it's a bit like a parent talking about their wonderful child here :ROFLMAO:). Both maple shafts hit nicely, though the 12.75 takes it over the 13 - cleaner, nicer taper and a little more flex. When I do use it, I actually keep both of those shafts in case, and shoot a Musashi shaft that I had re-tapped.

I was at Schon when a big batch of those styles were just finished. There were many variations, that's one of the nicer ones. They were just getting ready to ship out to a few of their key suppliers. There were still some, maybe 20-30, I don't remember, in racks awaiting the final finishing.
It was funny as I stopped in for something else and while talking to them asked when they were going to make some more no wraps, and he says like these over here. It's a fun place to stop in and see so many different cue versions, and in the case of your cue shown, new versions of cues that I had yet to see for sale. I really like that variation and sadly didn't buy one. There were some other variations I wasn't really crazy about.
It's a interesting place where you can just walk into the shop, or should I say factory. It's actually pretty big but only a few employees. When you walk in you are sort of in this pre room with a lot of finished cues and shafts waiting for shipments, but then when you go through the door to the shop there is a huge rack with semifinished cues.
One thing I have learned from my many stops there, if it's there break time, and they are shooting pool on the old Goldcrown table they have, don't interrupt and just watch, they will take care of you when they are done. They are a great group of guys, that love to play pool also.

So with the best intentions I went to pull up a pic of a wrapless cue for this thread.

Only in the past few months have I photographed most of my cues. Until just recently I’d guess 70% of my cues I never took a pic of.

Anyways looking at the pics I noticed I have only a couple wrapless cues. 4 to be exact and the pic of all 4 sucks. 2 things: first I will post pics when I get better pics and 2nd I had no idea that all my cues have wraps. (There’s a set of 6 Joss I recently posted in another thread-but those aren’t ‘big’ cues). I have 2 Sugartree & 2 $ cues. That’s it!

I really prefer linen wraps and my collection reflects that. I’d have bet a zillion I had more. But thinking about it, makes sense.

Pics to come…..

Great thread for sure!
