I have a SP made by a Fellow Az'r ZimsRack, and it's not fancy or anything like some of the ones in this thread, It's just a Purpleheart house cue, chopped and re-done, and has one of his shafts fitted to it. He didnt use a high glossy finish, so it doesnt really stand out, but it plays very nice!

The first is one of my first cues. I think it was actually my second cue. It's just a house cue with two joints. That's right, it's a j/b cue that I bought in 1988 or 1989. How far we've come. I recently put a phenolic tip on it. The whole cue is lousy, but it's grown on me. I'm sure if I send it to someone like Varney, it'd come back as a winner.
The second is my first custom (as opposed to customized) cue. It's a sneaky conversion of a purpleheart Valley house cue (I guess). Sheldon Lebow, in his earlier years put a spectacular Coco butt cap and and a Coco joint, and radial pin. The shaft has a phenolic collar on it. I actually had a screw in extension in the butt, but I recently had Sheldon take that feature away in favor of a bumper. Now I can rap the butt down in frustration like all of my other cues.
One of my pool playing friends has it in mind to start collecting nothing but Sneaky Petes. I think that's a pretty cool idea.

Not so sneaky Nitti
Found this cue about a year ago on Ebay. Chris Nitti Ebony and Ivory. The only one of these he made with a sleeved SS joint, radial pin. This is my playing cue, absolutely the nuts to look at and play with. Think I'll start a new thread for Hoppe style cues. David

Thought I would resurrect this thread for any new additions.....here's one I just picked up. I haven't had a chance to take my own pic, but will when I find a free moment. Anyone care to take a guess? BTW...this is a 'holy grail' cue for me...plays so good, it just about brings tears to my eyes.
