Thanks for the compliments. I bought the cue from the original owner, someone I'd known for more than 15 years. It was made somewhere between 1990 & 1991. I was told that he & Barry had a mutual love of blues music, GI Joe's, and other topics. I like to think that their friendship became symbolized in that logo.

It is the finest cue (both in terms of playability & aesthetics) I've ever held in my hands & I've had the privilege of auditioning some very collectable cues.

When Barry and I discussed my cue I told him I didn't want it so fancy that I couldn't play with it. I think he nailed it and it hits better than any other cue I've hit so far. It must be the glue he uses LOL

Sorry for posting the same cue that I have posted previously several times. I only have one Szamboti.

The butt and top two shafts were made by Gus. The bottom two shafts were made by Barry. Barry rewrapped the cue. 59.5" / 20.2 oz. I feel fortunate every time I get to play with it.
