The response to posts on the carom forum is so bloody pathetic at times. It make one wonder if it's even worth the effort to participate at all.....

So if that's a 1903, I assume then it's not heated? If not, do you find moisture and temperature greatly affect the shots? I can imagine after 3 cushions even a slight change would show up on a shot, but I mean after the first cushion do you notice a big difference depending on the time of year?

No heat...yet. The angles aren't really affected, it's mostly just the speed. If the humidity goes up a lot then it will roll little slower, but not really that bad. The room where I have the table is controlled somewhat, but there are some super humid days in the summer. In the winter, I don't see much deviation. Otherwise, it is very fast with the euro rubber.

I think the percentage of people that have pool tables in their house vs. people that have billiard tables in their house is big.
Here's my basement table. It's nothing fancy, just an old Brunswick kept clean, she's nothing to look at but she's given me alot of good times.

My Anniversary Table

Took out my GC4 for a change of Pace. Been fun and challenging. Once was in the Tacoma Elks Club.

Here are a few pictures of two Gabriels in my room, Bison Billiards, in Buffalo, NY. To my knowledge, the only carom tables in the area. Enjoy!

Wow, nice tables. Keep them coming; I live in the desert of billiards! This is my only fix!

!923 BBC Carom Table

Hope the picture shows up. This table is in my garage for now. No room in the house for now. It is in the Northwest, Northern Idaho. I had planned to keep it forever but it may be for sale in the next few months. These old tables are built to last and the frame is so massive. The slates weigh about 475 pounds each. May consider a cash offer or trade for something easier to move long distance.

My Gabriels

Jamie, I'd like to come up from Lawrence to play in one of your Saturday tournaments and hope to do so soon. You are always welcome to come play at my house.
