Belated birthday greetings

Happy birthday, and glad to see you so enthusiastic about pool. Once bitten, the attraction may wane, but never goes away. If your enthusiasm ever slows down, like most loves, sometimes a break is in order to appreciate what you're missing.

HollyWood, I don't need the attention......and I'm not shy anymore. I just can't change the title myself (mods: change it to something else? No one reads the whole thing anymore and I get some ridiculous 'advice' on how to overcome shyness).

There was a time months ago when I was going to stop reporting on my games, but one or two people still read it, so I kept it going. You can put me on ignore if that pleases you.

My enthusiasm hasn't waned since I started playing. It's gotten worse. Now the plan is to get a nice table when we move next month. Our new living room will be 14x17 1/2 feet.......guess where the pool table will be? The tv can go in the basement. :)

I'll post pictures of it when it's done.
 
I didn't get to play in APA last night (damn, another downer about this league, you'll sit there all night and not play). Teammates had a nice cake for my birthday that we shared with everyone who was shooting there. :cool:

hey there skier. I hope this finds you well.

just wanted to say congratulations on your progresses and desire to keep going back for the lights out territory way to go :) I check in every so often, and is good to see things are going well (despite slightly smug 3-foul players :P)

I am close to getting back on the tables properly, tournaments and tuition over next few months :) will be nice to get back into it.

Sunday's BCA 9 ball....not good this week. 3 out of 8. Opposite of last week!:p

Last night's APA 8 ball......race was 4/2, lost one game by scratching on the 8, but won the match 4-1.
 
Honestly, Jimbojim, I like them both. Each one has their own special Charm.:D

I won my first tournament tonight.... scotch doubles/double elimination 8 ball. Not a big field (only 10 teams), and we won only $60, but it was fun.

Winning paid for pool, dinner, drinks, entry fee, and some left over. :thumbup:

Tonight's game......I played an SL/5, I'm still a 4. Race was 4 to 3. I needed 3.

First game: lost
Second game: won
Third game: lost
Fourth game: won
Fifth game: won

I won the match. My opponent was the owner of the pool hall! haha

Tomorrow we are in the playoffs on my Tuesday night league. We're in 1st place. I hope we do okay. I want another trophy. ;)
 
Joann Mason Parker- Pool app.

Has a pool playing app for your ph. so all you league players can check (what to do in all Pool game situations ) with what Joann's father taught her !!
