SIB Tip Sale

This sale was going so well.
Can't leave you guys alone for 5-minutes.
Nobody likes to be called a thief, it has a tendency to set people off, doesn't matter who you are.

The only time I have ever seen concern over the country of origin for cue tips, was in reference to the fake Moori tips...China vs. Japan
I've seen legitimate concerns over the toxicity of special woods & finishes, but cues tips seem a little ridiculous.

Some people's kids...

Does that mean if you ordered before this shenanigans the deal is still good?

Not sure. Still waiting for an answer. I suspect Tom is probably just cooling his jets a little, and hopefully not going to implement broadsword justice, just because of a few bad apples.

Yes, all orders that were placed before 12:00 noon yesterday left yesterday, all orders placed after 12 noon leave this morning.

On me being thin skinned? I kept to myself through pages of being bashed. The thread on the main forum should have died a page or 2 earlier.

Reviews had already been posted and a lot more to come from buyers. I do have personal friends that are members. They do not post on my threads due to my wishes as I never wanted finger pointing, well thats Tom's friend (affiliate).

People misread or I send out misunderstood information. A treated Black Tip in general is often compared to a Kamui type hit which would fall under like my UltraSkin. When the leather has a different type treatment it is compared to an old Moori. I guess I should have said it hits like a good Le Pro or Triangle hand picked out of a couple of boxes.

My tips are inexpensive enough without sales to try and pass judgement.

I thank all for their time and support.

Tom, I like you. Your ambition, resilience and seemingly never ending drive to promote your tip. Its quite likely that your brand is approaching more sales from a volume standpoint than any cue tip in history. (excluding boxed tips of course) To say that your line of tips has been a success would be an understatement. The numbers alone dictate that you are going to have haters and the fact that your on a public forum will only intensify that.

I think your having a hard time accepting these comments because your resentful be it sub conscious or not due to the price. Often times i've seen you qualify your statements with the fact that your product is fairly priced and inexpensive. Maybe its time to raise the price? Not sure but im trying to put myself in your shoes.

Regardless of the above, ask yourself this question.

How many of your competitors (especially the ones who live in the threads where you started out) would trade for your scenario with 10K:1 happy/hater ratio in half a millisecond? I'm guessing damn near all of them would.

You dont see snotty comments about the other guys selling tips....and you know why. Its not because there nicer, have a better product or more honest.

So suck it up, this is part of success.....period

Thanks for the kind words.

Not to Jinx it but have you noticed that thread died after I stopped the sale?

It is also against AZB policy (I believe) to bash a persons product other than a review.

I also had many Ebayers, not conforming to sale about posting demanding 2 for one, I don't do it, bad review

Than I have a mess of people trying to do me a favor by buying as family and friends so I get no shipping info.

I get many as well that don't give a breakdown, just an order, this happens but not to this magnitude.

I appreciate any biz, but a pile of people didn't post, who do I say no to?

If anyone thinks I am refering to them, I am not as you were not even close to the only one.

I had people calling me saying they heard of offer and want to place order on phone while I keep saying what as I can't hear

So, without going on more, it gets deeper than it looks.

I still give AZB the biggest bang I can for the buck.

All I can write is, I Try.

Thanks,
Tom

Tom, sorry for the trouble you've been having. I've been using your original Ultraskin Pros and love them. I'd like to try your new SIB Pros. Could I buy 10 of your SIB Pros for $35 + $2.45 shipping and get 20 tips?

Got my order today and put a medium on a spare shaft. Tried it on my table at home and liked the way it 'grabbed' the cueball. Went out to play a bit at a bar on an 8 ft table with beatup bar cloth. Was very impressed with the way it hit, and the English it gave. I play a lot of english for cueball position, and it gave it well, without a lot of effort. I do tend to hit firmly on longer shots, and it seemed to give the same grab shooting softer or harder. I did cut about half the tip off before shaping, and will play the next few weeks with it to see how it holds up, but so far so good. Thanks Tom for offering another great product at a price the normal people can afford.
