Sick Shots

Yep, just goes to show that even pros can miss relatively "easy" shots. If only you had the intention to stick to the topic this would be be much more fun.
I have made hundreds of shots that are just as amazing as anything anyone can post up. We all have. And playing in money games too. So nothing impresses me about this game anymore.

Is that the topic at hand?

Nope, the topic is shots that we find to be great. If you find that nothing impresses you then perhaps you should skip this thread. The rest of us like to enjoy seeing amazing shots.

Maybe if pool isn't fun for you then you should look for a different sport. Dampening other people's fun with your dour attitude isn't cool. I guess you get some enjoyment out of doing that but it's not a good character trait in my opinion.

Hundreds of shots this amazing?

I hope you were exaggerating.
I think players at all levels have made amazing shots from time to time. I can believe he is made hundreds but not on purpose and not repeatablely.

However one motivation for this thread was to show the possible. Efren famously said he learned a lot of his magic shots by watching amateurs do things unintentionally and then going to the table to learn how to do it intentionally.

It just started out me watching the first video for a couple more shots and here comes JB acting bitchy. Nothing about my first post in this thread that required you to jump on my shit but now here we are.

I have made thousands of kick shots like that one
Sure you have. I would bet against you making them intentionally. You can get five to one from me if you want to attempt similar kick shots. You only need to make one every six attempts to stay even. $20 an attempt to keep it friendly with a $1000 loss cap. Every time you make one you get $100. When would you like to set this up? The requirement is that you take 50 shots and choose from a bucket of shot setups. Each shot will be taken from a kick shot made by a player in competition. Once you make a shot you can move to another shot. The bet ends when either of us has lost $1000 or 50 attempts have been made.

If you're up for that let me know. Will be a great way to get even more amazing kick shots on video.

Is it just me? I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. That was not a difficult kick shot john. The object ball being close to the rail makes it much easier to aim. The blocker down table that it had to go by on the rail side was what was cool about it. He was obviously playing a two way shot. I make a kick of that caliber almost every time I play a set of nine ball. And yes it's intentional.

Nah, there was "something" about your first post that INSPIRED the response you got. Pretty sure I am not the only one who noticed it.

Then let me know if you want to try it and others for money. I am totally down to lose to $1000 to you if you can take it. If the shot is a much higher percentage than I think it is then you can easily get ahead on that one getting to five to one on the money for each attempt. By the way the kick shot was not the "amazing" shot in that sequence.

My bad I didn't continue watching it. Thought it was cut to the spot.

Now here is a kick I have never made even once and probably wouldn't have even thought of trying.

This entire rack was amazing. 50k winner take all.

I have shot that kick similarly and my success rate is pretty dismal. Chao picked the perfect time to make it.

I should have been clearer. I was referring to the stroke shot that follows the kick.
That was an awesome stroke. I would have had to just shoot it with high and a touch of left to gently arrive at shape on the 5. Boring as hell, I know. He probably decided to shoot it like that just because he can.
