You Don't Want The Answer This Question.....

Sigel Cues Really Struggle On The Secondary Market. Probably Because He Told 75% Of His Potential Buyers That They Couldn't Afford His Cues.

P.s. If You Get Over 1.5k For The Cue I'd Be Surprised

I hate to agree with you, but I would be suprised if it went over 1k on open auction, so best to find someone that really, really wants it.

Mike put a few of his brand new cues on ebay about 6 months ago or so and they hit 500-800.00. This one is a little nicer, but like fast said, his cues really didn't do too well 2nd hand.

I had 2 of them. One MSRPd at 2500, I got it for 900.00 with one unchalked shaft and one test hit shaft.

Humble Mike Sigel he is not.

How dare you all even think of bashing the great, legendary, phenomenal, iconic, dashing, personable, humble, handsome, and philanthropic Mike Sigel? You should all consider it a priviledge to even be allowed to say his name!

I have two of his cues and I love them. One I had him make for me and the other I bought second hand for nearly 70% off of what the guy paid. It is my favorite cue and I was more than happy to take it off his hands.

Just keep picking them up...

You should be okay on his cues. Sigel and Bloodworth's cues could be free and I wouldnt play with them.

Too many great cuemakers out there to put up with those egos and jerks.

Each to their own.

very well said sir. i could add a few more to that list but i wont

$400 to me. Just so I could show it to Sigel and say I paid $400 for it and I feel like I got gyped. Sorry but he has worn out all the props he was due due to his steller play in the 70s and 80s. To me he is just a KT shill now and will be so forever...

I've never heard any beef with Bludworth.
Whats that all about?
(I'm not being sarcastic either)

Dave

Sad but true!

Mike overprices his cues on the front end, but eroded any and all interest in them on the secondary market. So the delta is huge - like 65-70%.

I have no doubt Mike priced this cue at over 4K new. But now? Take $1250.00 (if you can) and run like the wind!

I think you should hold on to it... the only way you can come out ahead with that cue is in the long run. Stick it in a closet for 10 or 20 years, maybe by then people will have forgotten how he acted towards his customers.

Wouldn't make a difference. The cue speaks for itself, with or without Mike's personality.

I sold a $4,500 Sigel for S1,600. I was crazy enough to trade a brand new Richard Black cue that I designed and payed $2,600 for. I guess I like to throw away a $1,000 bucks.LOL. They play great.
