I recently purchased a pool cue through a reputable sight , The description of the pool cue was as follows : very light wear on the shaft , the butt is almost flawless condition . Well I received the cue today , and upon laying my eyes on it , I discover 3 dings on the handle , one of the dings is through the clear coat (finish) . My thought is how could the seller in good conscience even make mention of flawless when theirs dings in it . I would really appreciate anyone’s comments on this matter , thank you !
 
I think a lot of cues get marred up with shipping. Packing them up right is important. Either way if it is not as described work with the seller.
 
A few dings in an otherwise good condition cue would still be "almost flawless". Along with such sayings "save as much as... " does not mean you will save that much, can be 0 can be up to whatever the other higher number is.

Not sure what you would need from anyone else, if you are not happy with the condition, contact the seller, it's your call not anyone else's if the condition is acceptable to you or not.
 
do as other do here. out the business and tell how they screwed you and misrepresented the condition.
and ask for help here, before even contacting them to see what they will do about a likely mistake or misunderstanding. and do it by email instead of calling directly and complaining about how its been three days and you havent got an email response.
 
Just my opinion but I buy a pool cue to play pool with it. If it had a few dings as long as they aren't outrageous I'd keep it so long as it rolls straight and the problems don't affect playability.
 
You didnt show diligence as a buyer.
You have the seller send you pictures of the defects before you buy. And it matters how much you paid for it. If you got a great deal, then a few dings are no big deal. If you paid top dollar, then I would feel a little screwed too.

In order to fall into the "honest" category full disclosure is required...anything less is dishonest. No ifs, ands, or buts.
