Does anyone make a good soft leather case with a nice interior like Ivan Belmonte? Two grand for a case right now just seems a bit much. Maybe if I can sell a Josey cue and a 4x8 Instroke soft case, but I would love a good soft leather case.
 
Ivan Belmonte cases are the triple nuts times 5, I arry one(sometimes) its too nice to beat up travelling etc. If you work with Ivan it will be less than $2,000. I cant say what I paid but it wasnt that-however it is worth that much.

I have a freind who has a old case, with a very similar interior. It too was expensive as I remember, I had it for a while(long story), next time I see him I will look and see who made it.
 
Thanks Eric, I appreciate the help. As for the 2Gs, I was using the current dollar versus euro exchange rate. If the dollar strengthens (not any time soon I would imagine), then this would be a better deal, but at this time, it is expensive.
 
I have been working with Rusty Melton on a soft sided 4x8 case, and expect it to be very nice. Send him a PM, and see what he can do for you.

I can make you one. We are working on a couple soft cases now. $475 including shipping. I flat out guarantee that my interior will be as good as or better than any made by anyone else.

I saw Ivan's case at the China open. Marcus Chamat had one. I can promise you that you won't be in the least disappointed in our work compared to his. Not in the least.

The interior can be anything you want it to be. Velvet, our moisture resistant fabric, deerskin, goat, whatever.

I've seen pretty soft cases by both John Barton and Jim Murnak. There are a couple listed in the For Sale section right now, I think. Significantly less that $2,000!
 
Murnak is showing several soft cases on his site and for well below $2k and with pockets of your choice etc. JB has a couple on his site also.
 
JB makes the best cases. His leather and materials are by far the best. I have seen some of the leather used by some other case makers and they don't feel or look good. They actually feel a bit like plastic.

Thanks I saw it and it is a beatiful case but not what I was looking for. I have a Murnak similar to that, I was looking for something a little different. I have an Instroke case that would be great if it had velvet inside to hold the cues. It has the boards with velcro and I hate that.

Does anyone know a case maker that can reconstruct the inside of an Instroke case?
