Has anyone tried the HR version of Simonis? I believe its only available in 860. They claim its slightly faster than the standard 860. I've had a barbox in the shop with 760 on it for years and quite pleased with the performance. I chose the 760 because thats what we used at the old Mothers room and it was durable & fast. Well to make a long story shorter...I've swapped my barbox for a 9ft and now I need to order new cloth. I want the tournament blue color & I see they have a new HR version which is suppose to be burn resistant. Not cig burns but the little white spots from breaking, jumping, where the ball lands before the rack. Anyone tried the HR yet? Happy with it? Any negs? Be nice not to have the new cloth covered with the white spots. Thank you for your time.:)

My limited exposure to the 860HR is that it is a little quick and probably plays closer to the 760 that you are use to.

I haven't seen any burn marks in the few tables I've seen it on, but they are still pretty new.

Realkingcobra highly recommends the HR and I'll be getting it as soon as he can get his butt headed in this direction.

Thanks for all the info gentlemen. I'm sold on the HR but the guy setting up my table is trying talk me into Miliken. I've never heard of it but he swears its just like Simonis...just as fast, yet higher quality & cheaper. I pretty much doubt it but he's a friend not a saleman so I'd thought I'd humor him & ask. I just think he's a C player & may not realize the difference. Anyone?
