Simonis Std Green 860 -- their website Fails so I ask the experts

Yep - the dealership, salespeople, office staff, etc should all work for free.
Surely the showroom and lot magically appeared with no ongoing overhead costs.
Fail to see what car and cloth sales have in common other then whoever is doing the selling should get a reasonable return for selling the product.
Of course that's just common sense, which you lack.

once again now I have no common sense, yet another attack. I wonder Fartman have you ever made any real money doing anything else. What does your resume look like?

Whats really odd is that when other s talk tome I never have a problem. So who is it? me or you. You guys are the ones who make an image of me by saying all those rude comments. You just expect me to sit here and keep taking it. PISS OFF

Selling cloth doesn't require all the things you mentioned, give me a break. BUt paying someone to sit on their ass all day and do nothing but play in a forum does. Thats why you need to charge!! I am warming up,

if you even had half the class you think you have you would have put me on your little list of mechs but your right Fartman I don't go with everyone else, I DONT HAVE TO!

Whats really funny to me is that when I took another leave of absence from the forum from getting pissed off again you actually started in with LCCS, must have been because I wasn't around any more to pick on. Although I did notice you trying to drop bait.

its ok for the pockets but not the rest, is the cloth dif in other areas? Noone will say anything in this forum except me when it comes to debateing something. This is NOT a forum at all.

If all the guys who wanted to say things but feared the attacks that they have seen my get did it would be so nice in here.

John, you're acting like a little kid again, wetting the flaps in the pockets to be able to Finnish off the pockets on slates with almost oval pocket cuts is needed in order to be able to finish off the pockets so they don't look butchered when done, that has nothing to do with the playing surface...now does it really?...Stop trying to be so argumentative, you lose all credibility when you do that!

Glen

Ok Glen, so your saying that for fact you can NOT spray the cloth because it will not function properly later?

I will be back in 3 hrs. from now. The show must go on.

Here we go again one more time...LOL John, cloth maintains its tightness by the weave of the cloth trying to return to it's natural state which is limp. Now when you stretch the cloth you are in fact taking all the loosely weaved fibers of the cloth and pulling against the weave of the thread, and in return the weave resists this pull by becoming more and more taunt, kind of like a rubber band that as you pull it apart it tries to pull back against the force you are applying, and it does that by slowly loosing spacing between the fibers of the thread as it's being stretched thinner and thinner, yet the threads are still gripping onto one another. Now, when you add moisture to the weave of the threads, it works as a lubricant which allows the threads to loose the grip on one another which causes a slipping effect of the fibers, so they slip past each other to the point that they can't return to their original makeup...because cloth does not shrink when wet, and neither does nylon, only heat stretches these kind of materials.

So, like I've said so many times in the past, wash a wool shirt in a washing machine and it'll grow in size, dry it with heat and it'll be to small to wear if it fit you before it was washed...because it'll shrink in size with heat.

Come on John, if you've stretched cloth as far as you can by pulling on it as tight as you can and you stretched it 3"....and can't pull it no more no matter how hard you pull....when you get it wet....where in the hell do you think you got that extra stretch from??????????????...by wetting the cloth with something that works as a lubricant which is allowing the fibers to slip on one another!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN NOT ARGUE WITH THE FACTS, THAT'S WHY THEY'RE CALLED....."FACTS"

Glen

If I buy cloth from someone, its mine and I can sell it for whatever I want. ...

You can sell that cloth for whatever you want - but you have to advertise it at the MAP
or is that too difficult for you to understand?

I'll tell you what's not fair - your continuous clogging of this forum with controversial methods and techniques that highly respected
mechanics have dismissed as crap yet you persist in trying to prove your way is best. What part of your methods suck don't you get?

Still waiting for all the OTHER GUYS you mentioned to post up and list just 1 method of yours that they found to be the nuts.
Right now you're only a legend in your own mind.

OK now I am leaving it on my website as it was. Once again RICK from the FLET PROS says that my methods suck. That means I suck as thats what you want to say but have no real balls.

Hey what kind of cushions were those that you put on that great Arcade table you did?

Some of my ways are best some are not. But its not up to you to say so, its up to the other guys in this forum to try them or whatever. I come here to talk about new things. You can sit and live in the past all you want.

Oops - found a post (extensions) from one of the "other guys" that pretty much sums up OBLT

...
I have been reading this thread since it started, at first I was genuinely interested in it. It looked to be a great discussion on different ways of doing something.

Now it appears to have turned into a fight, over who's right, not what is right.

OTLB, I have formed the opinion that you have some sort of chip on your shoulder. Through out this thread you have stated that you want to make it better, but if that was the true case, when you are offered help in Improving YOUR new method you turn it down and act like it was a personal attack on your methods.

There is only one person who is perfect in everything they do and do not need advice from anyone else to improve on it, and sorry to say that isnt any of us. Your methods my very well have the design to change the industry, but without accepting the fact that you do not always have all the answers and someone out there might have a good one, I am sorry to say it will never go any farther then your workshop.

I was hoping to actually learn something on table machinces from this thread, but alas that does not seem to be the case, so I am walking away from it now.

I wish you all the best with your designs and idea's, but this is one person that is looking to learn the trade that will not be following them.

Yet again your show your weakness by posting what others have said, like I said you have no balls. Keep picking on me it looks good on you, it becomes you. You probably look just like your avatart. Like the most recent PM I just got, they are laughing at you, I am use to them laughing at me.

Correct. IMO your methods suck. If you don't like it go find some kleenex. Whether YOU suck, I don't know nor do I care.

And on the arcade table - I posted what cushions were used. You can go look it up if you feel the need.

Today I'm sitting on my boat. - thanks to the past.

Didn't you have a table or something to screwup today?
Funny how you have to go yet you're still here. :rotflmao1:

Glen what stretches more. The same piece in the winter or the same piece on a hot humid day?

Jesus Christ this is stupid!!! What state? Indoors or outside? Raining or humid as hell, or suns out and it's 110 degrees? Why in the f*%K do you think I premeasure my cloth for stretch????? Because then I can tell which cloth stretched more, Blue or Green Simonis, and because I can tell how much to adjust the stretch!

LMAO - weakness???????
YOU'RE the one talking about what "others" say.
I just happened to find a post and thought I'd share since you can't.

Ahh - recent PM - Do share!
I'm sure none of us are holding our breath or really care.

Don't forget things are different on Monday as compared to Tuesday.

This entire thread is stupid and has pretty much been off topic from the getgo.
It's become nothing more then his soapbox.

yes many of my threads have sour notes, they all have one thing in common besides me. Keep belittling me it shows your true colors.

This is not an open Forum, you have your friends that nice

and what type of cushions were those I asked about before?

Then if I share you will just pick on them, I can take care of this myself. thank you sorry you can't.

Whenever you choose to post your name, number and service area in that thread you will be added to the list.
To date I don't recall you doing that. If you did you can quote the post number.

The rule to be added is simple -
Submit (Post Reply) your name, number and area you service to be added.
Please save your commercials and advertisements for the yellow pages.

As a lawyer would say to a judge, "Your honer, I respectfully request that this thread be removed on the grounds that it is purely "Argumentative, Irrelevant, self serving, and otherwise....a total waste of time, as it has nothing to do with the title of the thread, nor does the title have anything to do with ANYTHING, other than for argument's sake!"

Glen

I concur that the current corrective action would be that but it was obvious a long time ago that there is only one judge and its not me

John, I'll tell you what. When I get done with this seminar, and I get up to the NY, NJ, MD area, I'll make it a point to spend some one on one time with you:D I'm pretty sure that with some time spent with you, showing you what I do, I'll be able to at least get you to understand what I'm doing and why...OK?
