Hi all,
So I purchased some 860 9ft Simonis cloth from Seyberts for over $500 USD including shipping.
Shout out to Seyberts for their great delivery.
There was something about the cloth which did not look right and I couldn't put my finger on it.
Anyway I started installing the rails. Installing the feather strip, trim the excess, flip the rail over and staple the cloth.
The following pics are the top of the rail showing fluff and nap.
I'm like WTF is this.
What did I do to cause this.
Did I install the cloth upside down or what.
I unstapled the rail cloth to inspect the other side and the cloth is installed correctly with the top side being the finished side.
The rail was upside down on a blanket, somehow did that do it. No not possible.
There is something wrong with this cloth was the conclusion I came to after thinking about it.
So I contact Simonis USA and forwarded the above pics.
They got back to me and requested that I send the cloth number via a black light. So I did.
Then a couple of days later I did a follow up showing the below pics of the fluff coming of the rails.
And I haven't heard anything since.
What would be really good if I was sent another replacement cloth.
