Hey Guys,

Its been a while since I have been here and I am just looking for a little help with trying to figure out the best way to explain a Skins setup.

Local players in my area are always trying to figure out some good competition setups to keep players coming back for more.

The issue I run into all the time is when I am trying to explain something new to the players. Since a lot of the players are francophone (French speaking), Its really hard to explain and translate these rules / setup clearly.

Would anyone of you guys or gals be able to point me in the right direct ?

There used to be a 9 ball Skins game pool tournament played around the year 2004.
I think it's supposed to play like golf skin games and was promoted by Allen Hopkins.

Maybe someone here could explain the rules to you. I don't think it was very popular.

I think they play shirtless.....ahem!
 
100k four man skin games. Now that was really good for the 4 players that were lucky enough to get in. It was great to watch. Johnnyt
 
Well, for one thing, I will not be hosting a 100k skins game that's for sure. LOL

I will be throwing the idea to the players in my area for a 12 - 16 player skins game. With a pot of (hopefully) 1k. If I am able to get the maximum 16 players.

4 rounds, top 4 players play for 50% of the pool.

That's my idea any ways.
