Slow AZ Website Becoming More Common

Before the change, Az's old website didn't experience the slow response this new site format has been exhibiting.....maybe I've just forgotten the shortcomings of the old format but I don't recall response time being a complaint.......the new site periodically acts like a dial up arrangement it's so darn slow......I've seen several previous threads complaining about the slowness of this website which will surely annoy and drive people away.
 
Yes,sometimes is amazingly slow.Especially during mornings here.Well,actually it is night in States then between 4 and 7 AM:o:o:o

I rescheduled a process that was running every morning and thought that might help. I am not sure if it is a scheduled task or something else that is causing the problem.

5-7 in the morning EST?

I will look into what else could be causing the slow down.

I thought it was just on my end but now I don't feel left in the dark while waiting for the announcement of "next big thing" for pool.....

Hope the AZB team has it ironed out.

unfortunately, every morning I have to rise at 5"30am est, az is slower in the wee hours of the morning until 7 am est and some mornings are worse than others. like today, it is so slow wit is brutal!@ :angry: once I pressed reply to this post it took 53 seconds just to get to this page. god only knows how long it will take to actually get posted once I hit "send". it is to the point that I am seriously considering waiting on az until after 8 am est......we send satellite to the far reaches of the galaxy and we can't seem to get this site to function any better than a dial up service, beats me....well, I was going to put some sort of smiley face here but I got tired of waiting on the download.....no other website this morning has the same loading speed, so this is a problem at az..........:angry:
 
Well here in the Philippines we are 12 hours ahead(and 100 years behind) so the website is dead azz slow from 5pm to 7pm give or take. Very Very annoying.
 
so I just went to a "npr" thread and it took 1 minute 43 seconds to load. I have come up with a way to make the wait more entertaining. you have heard of choosing door # 1, 2, or 3? well, I opened 3 different az sites at the same time, then watched the spinning wheels and at the same time betting on which wheel, #1, #2 or #3 would open first. ;) this is akin to watching wong play 14.1, well, maybe worse. :sorry:
 
jerry, I don't know what you or your staff did but the site this morning is acting like a normal website, well, as far as loading speed, you still have the trolls :rolleyes:

as of 7:15amEST, it's taking 47 seconds to flip to page 2 from Main page.
20-30 seconds to flip to POST.
this has been going on for 3-4 months, from 4am-8amEST.

PS - and 66 seconds to actually post; just clocked it. and now @ 7:24am, a GATEWAY TIMEOUT. i can't get back to the Main Forum.
